We spent the night here as we had an early flight in the morning. The location is great & restaurants are nearby. A shuttle to the airport was available but we didn't need it. We will be staying here again..
I made a reservation The day before arising. come on board specified at the time I made my reservation that I would be paying cash because I had identity theft and had to put a hold on my credit cards. When I arrived at 11:30 at night hoping to go to sleep very quickly... I was told that I was not allowed to stay at the hotel because they didn't accept cash!! They turned me away and I had to find other accommodations at midnight. I was only staying for one night, leaving at 5:00 a.m. the next morning, I had $5,000 in cash in my pocket... Government issued cash... It was not accepted and told to leave.
I have stated at this hotel 3 times. Each time, the hotel shuttle drivers from the airport have been really nice. The front desk staff are fast and friendly. The rooms are standard yet clean. Breakfast is also standard for a Hampton Inn. Overall, I like this hotel as a flight crew hotel because it is closer to the airport than the previous hotel we used to stay. And lots of restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this place.
This Hilton hotel has always been my choice when I fly in and out of Sacramento. It is clean, has a great free breakfast and free shuttle to and from the airport. Has a good choice of restaurants within walking distance.
My wife and I have stayed in several airport hotels in this area on numerous occasions. This Hampton Inn is by far the best of the Sacramento airport hotels. Service was friendly and highly competent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shuttle service is prompt, friendly and comfortable.
