Our room was located on the 7th floor with a view of the river. Very clean room, comfortable bed. As others had mentioned, we could hear our neighbors..the room is definitely not super quiet if you have someone next to you. Other than that everything was perfect. The valet were some of the most hospitable people..very welcoming and helpful. Close to restaurants but due to recent changes with COVID, many were closed or had limited dining and long waits. We would stay again!
The location of this hotel is great. Right next to Old Sac, with views of the river. Easy walking distance to the Capital and Golden 1 Center, as well as Raley Field (now Sutter Health Park). Nice evening reception, plus you can take your drinks into the restaurant. Full cook to order breakfast. Big suites with TVs in both bedroom and living room. We've stayed here a couple of times. Only thing I don't like is the parking. Self parking is in a public garage across the street at $24 a day.
Spending my xmas at embassy suites with my family was great , during covid-19 the hotel was always hospitable friendly and right on anything I needed . Breakfast in the morning was always great. The only thing that I would say that may need improving is the cost of parking and that's it.
Located at the opposite end of Capitol mall to the Capitol building this hotel sits on the banks of the Sacramento river. The suites are very spacious with a living room with dining area and a separate bedroom both with TV sets. A hot freshly cooked breakfast is also included. There are many walking trails along the river and Old Sacramento is a very short stroll away.Due to covid restrictions the restaurant is only open for take out at this time. Parking is quite limited and is only available through valet service but overall it was a good experience.
Hotel is nice BUT California law requires face masks INSIDE. Many people were walking in and out WITHOUT face masks. No effort to enforce the law at all. Staff never stopped anyone. Room was nice. Double beds seem small. Even though we were on the 7th floor road noise was loud. Bring earplugs. Cable channel offerings was good. Includes HBO. Breakfasts was just ok. Limited selections, standard US offerings — cooked to order eggs, precooked French toast, precooked waffles (Luke warm at best), breakfast meats. No toast or bagels. No cut up fruit. Pastries prepackaged. They seem to take the covid safety rules seriously. Parking: valet only at $35 per day! Or park across the street in the city parking garage for $25. City lot is not secure. So if you choose to park in the city lot don’t leave anything of value or you may come back to a “smash and grab.” …
