Hotel's Favorite
For the third time, my husband and I splurged on a getaway to Auberge de Soleil, and it is a splurge. This is one escape that never disappoints and is worth every dollar. Impeccably clean, expertly designed room, views, amenities, and kind, diligent service, There are hotel items that are often rare but are the norm here: no additional costs of stocked mini bar; fresh fruit in room; lovely fireplace, spacious room; incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, roomy bath and closet; help with every detail; complimentary use of the mercedes of your choice while there, and more.

This place was highly recommended by a friend because of their service and view. We were not disappointed. Miguel was our server. We had a wonderful lunch. The view and service were more than we imagined.

An amazing terrace with world class food, service and views. A perfect night to celebrate any occasion. Only key point is that Uber's/Lyft don't operate in that part of California late at night. If you are staying past 10pm, drive yourself.

We spent two nights at Auberge, where we hosted our daughter's wedding. This was spectacular on every level. The breakfast, the room, the staff... Yes, it's expensive, but it is beyond well worth it. We would go so far as to say this is one of the nicest places we have stayed, period. As for Auberge for a wedding: We chose it because of where they hold the wedding - with the sun setting over the valley. That's really hard to beat. What we didn't know when we chose it was that we would also get to know Jamie, who was Auberge's point-person for the wedding. We did NOT use a wedding planner. Jamie made sure everything went off without a hitch. Our wedding was Sunday night with about 60 people. We didn't do a lot of upgrading (table linens, dinnerware, etc.) Didn't matter - we were treated first class all the way. To top it off, our daughter has celiac disease and Auberge went out of its way to make sure the entire meal was 100% gluten-free, with NO contamination – to the point of bringing in gluten-free bread that was served to EVERYBODY, which lessened the risk of a wayward crumb finding its way onto her food. This is what a first class place does! Thanks to Auberge our family and friends had a night they won't soon forget.
