The Hotel Centro Sonoma Wine Country, Tapestry by Hilton, comes highly recommended for its friendly and efficient staff, though a few guests have noted occasional inconsistencies with housekeeping. Its prime location is frequently praised for ease of access to local activities in Sonoma and Napa. Rooms are considered a solid value, offering modern comfort at reasonable rates, although concerns have been raised about incidental costs and towels. While the hotel's ambiance and cleanliness receive accolades, some visitors suggest an improvement in bathroom amenities and the replenishment of room supplies.

Stay was absolutely amazing!!! The hotel was so beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Shoutout to Gustavo who fixed the keurig in the room as soon as we told maintenance about it. It was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had! I highly recommend!

The lobby is very nice looking and all the staff are friendly. The ambiance of the outdoor patio and pool are nice. The hot tub was out of order. The hotel room doors severely creek when opening/closing with no door stoppers. Therefore, when house keeping is cleaning the rooms nearby, be prepared to listen to the doors opening/closing for hours. The food at the restaurant on-site is limited but very tasty. The hotel room is modern and very welcoming. The bed is extremely comfortable and gave me a good nights rest. I also think they went above and beyond to make sure all health sanitation was up to high standards. The property is nearby many commercial businesses and close to the highway. Took a few days to fix a billing issue. Though they have a few kinks to work out in their opening phase, I would recommend this hotel to others.

We purposely seek out a Cambria Hotel when traveling for its style and hospitality.
The hotel was clean and staff were pleasant. The flatbreads available on the bar menu were delicious and the perfect meal for a late arrival.

The hotel is located near several restaurants and shops as well as Highway 101. It had a lovely pool and over size towels.

Covid, as an excuse, has eliminated the buffet breakfast usually found at a Cambria, when asked we were told they hadn’t served breakfast for a long time…could be due to the pandemic. The “grab n go” breakfast noted on the website was non-existent. Cafe Mimosa and Panera filled the bill for us. We received a handout about Covid precautions which indicated rooms would be attended to every three days or upon request. On day four we inquired about housekeeping and were told it had to be requested.

Definitely, a clean, modern hotel with a pleasant staff and good location. I would stay there again.

the rooms have motion sensors which turn off the lights and tv. i understand the concept but it times out around roughly 20 minutes. it’s super annoying when your trying to relax and watch a movie but it keeps shutting off because your not moving enough. i’ve also tried waving arms legs and pillows at random intervals but the motion sensors aren’t sensitive enough to detect the movement. it is also increasingly agitating that when you’re finally able to turn on the tv, it is not on the same channel you were watching. so you will have to remember which station it was on and change it manually. not only that, but the remote control response to the tv also isn’t very efficient. the girl at the front desk said all rooms are programmed like this and there is no one here that can change it.

(minor side note:) i am recovering from a recent surgery and movement for me does not come easy right now. i have slight mobility issues that is compounding the situation.

otherwise, the hotel is very clean and has an aesthetically pleasing layout. besides the above mentioned issue, the rooms are very nice with comfortable furniture. although, the pillows are on the smaller side. there is also a mini fridge which i am always looking for in hotel rooms so that is a plus. the staff are always helpful and friendly. we’ve stayed here multiple times and generally like this hotel. we haven’t had an opportunity to enjoy the food, pool, or gym. however, they conveniently have a laundry room which i’ve needed to use and is super helpful. it costs $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry a load. the front desk has individual detergent/dryer sheet packs that are complimentary upon request. i would honestly give a 5 star rating if i wasn’t deterred by my absolute frustration with the tv constantly turning off.

We went up to Rohnert Park for a comedy event we had been given tickets for. We looked at several options and saw how pretty the hotel was. Indeed the hotel was well maintained and the room was as well. The downside was the customer service we received. We booked for four people and only got two 'Breakfast Passes' I inquired to the possibility about getting more was told no we could only get two because that's how the reservation was made. I than offered to pay for more passes, again was told no because they couldn't sell them separately and our only recourse was to either purchase breakfast items separately or charge the breakfast items to the room. So I gave up on that but we needed towels as they only had left two towels in the room. I asked nicely with a please and thank you to be only met with a young lady that I assumed was in a huff that she had to bring towels to us. I also asked for additional shampoo as the dispenser was really low, which they never did fill. I can only hope that staff be better trained and I understand not everyone has good days but when you work in a primarily customer service business you have to put those bad times behind you and not let it show so much especially if someone is asking with please and thank you.

Out first stop on our drive back to WA from Los Angeles and we are NOT disappointed. Our room is SO clean, bright and spacious. I LOVE how they removed all drawers and created open shelves instead. This way travelers have an easier time not leaving anything behind but it also creates a more “open” feel. The bathroom giant wall mirror is a bluetooth speaker!! The pool is heated and there is a hot pool as well. We are traveling w our pets and this is hands down one of the best pet friendly hotels to-date. While we are about 6miles from downtown Santa Rosa the price and the quality of the rooms are SO worth it. We were here only for one night and all of our minimal contact w hotel staff have been friendly and good. This hotel is definitely going on my list of must stays for simple stays.

Just finished a 4 night stay, and will be back. The common areas are clean, spacious, and welcoming. There is a pool area, and more than enough equipment in the gym to get a decent workout in. The rooms are quite decent, if a bit minimalist. Most importantly, the beds are extremely comfy, and the bathrooms are spacious (and have Bluetooth mirrors with speakers that will play your music while you are in the shower!)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although I didn't get a chance to eat at their restaurant/Bar, it was consistently busy, and the people seemed to be enjoying their food and having a good time.

This hotel is very pet friendly (any pet, I was told), and there was a constant stream of "good dogs" parading through the lobby. This was a major plus for me, since I was going through puppy withdrawal having left my pooch at home.

The hotel was truly excellent. The entire facility is spotless clean and the staff is most helpful. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom immaculate. Previously we had stayed at a nearby hotel, but this place is newer and super nice. In-room morning coffee only - no breakfast unless you want to eat in restaurant down stairs which has fairly reasonable prices.

My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel after visiting the Cambria Napa property. Both were great - very clean, quiet and new. The Napa property was more convenient but this location allowed us to travel to the Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Valley, Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. The view from our room was good and the housekeeping team kept everything very clean.

What set this property apart from anywhere we’ve stayed was the breakfast. We were shocked that very few visitors took advantage of the on-site breakfast. Seriously, we’ve stayed at many
luxury properties and this was one of the best we’ve had! Kasey provided outstanding and speedy service and the food was excellent.

If we return to this part of CA, we won’t hesitate returning to this property.

I stayed here while dropping my daughter at Sonoma State. She commented that it smelled like a new car, and it did! Gorgeous, clean, big rooms with every amenity. I was really impressed. In the lobby there was a large bar and lounge area that looked great to relax in. Centrally located, my room on the top (4th floor) was really quiet. It is dog friendly but I only heard one Woof in the middle of the night from another room. Overall a great place I would recommend and visit again!

Why is it I'm charged a $100% plus some on my online reservation for a $127 room I was charged $240?!

Rohnert Park, California
Thank you for inquiring. It is a standard procedure in the industry to authorize an additional amount for incidentals, items you may want to charge to the room, such as food and beverages. If not used, the $100 pending authorization is released upon checkout, but may take up to three days for your bank to release it.
