Always wanted to stay in the hotel. I was looking for things to do on my birthday and last minute I decided to stay here for two nights for a birthday staycation getaway. I also needed a break from work and this place was just perfect. Although lights were minimal compared to what it usually is, pre covid, it was still beautiful. There was still beautiful lights in front of hotel, in hotel, and all around the lobby. The big tree and gingerbread house were in lobby and I enjoyed taking pics. I got the deluxe queen room and it’s perfect for one person. The spa was closed but I’ll be sure to visit it next time I go to the hotel after covid! I enjoyed yummy room service and the pool. Nothing around was really open. A hot chocolate and churro stand was open when I walked around the hotel, so I enjoyed that. Donut Bar was also open, and I got some donuts for my family. It was an amazing birthday, despite covid times and needing to be isolated away from family!! …
The rooms were very nice and the staff was very personal and sweet. I look forward to staying again. The staff was really attentive, I think they could have more support because the security guard answered the phone most of the time. That didn't irritate me because they still took care of us. I am going back when the pandemic is over. Stay Safe
With quarantine in full effect, I needed to get outta dodge (LA) and just escape. Took the train to DT Riverside for a night's stay and it was perfect! Staff was great, room was awesome and you can just get lost just walking around. I can't wait until the rest of the hotel is open to experience the full fantasy. The pool is open thankfully and really didn't feel like I was in the IE. I grew up here and it's nice to be able to go back, visit family and stay at such a luxurious and rich place.
I have to say that this was one of the best visits I've had at the Mission Inn. We stayed there a few days before Christmas and we truly enjoyed it. There wasn't a crowd and since we were staying there we were able to walk around the grounds. It was beautiful. The restaurants were closed for indoor/outdoor dining however we were fine with that. We ordered and ate inside our room. It was nice, the food was delicious and we had quality time with our son and granddaughter.
Everything here is attractive, They have a swiming pool. Even the rooms are attractive!! Howard H Tim Hays. There are paintings as well and even the stairs are attractive! The lamps are great as well. The food is good and tables are comfortable. Even the the windows are beautiful! Howard liked Chinese food and buddhas as well. There is a fountain and a canon. I will always this place. So beautiful! A must see!
