Quick check in and good service. Big room with clean bed. The shower is in need of renovation/maintenance. Some of the guests had a dog in the room, and the outside of the room and stairs didnt not look very nice. As one dog where bleeding from its behind... All in all, it seems overpriced, and there are better options......

Came to the area for a wedding and there were not many places to stay. This was one of the recommendations to stay and since it had a three star rating thought it would be decent to stay in. Sadly that was not the case. One of the rooms that we had reserved didn't have a pull out coach for...

Good location if you need to be in Rio Vista. Otherwise an adequate room. I've stayed there a few times and the beds are not too comfortable but average for a cheap hotel. The front desk guy was helpful finding a restaurant.

Hard traveling, long hours on the road, found me crossing the Sacramento River, into a little Delta town called Rio Vista, which sits right on the waters edge. Hard rains, bad condituions ,i decided to stay at the Rio Sands.Charming ,modest and clean. It also happens to be the only place a traveler can stay in the town, now.

You responded to my complaint about the horrible room. Complaining to your staff about the horrible carpet would not serve any purpose. They didn't have any other rooms and it's not like they could put in new carpet. Maybe you should clean the carpets. Second there was no breakfast. I specially asked and was told there is no breakfast of...

On our road trip my wife and I happened upon this little gem of a place. We stayed two nights and we were centrally located to all of the cities sites and restaurants. The river and bridge is within walking distance. Great value and great place to stay.

Overoriced for what you get. Bathroom - shower let more water go on floor than down the drain- could not close door, leaked. Beds made you roll into middle. Noisy near highway. Reception had a smell. Attendant did not offer any sugestions for dinner. Luckily we chanced on Foster Bighorn tavern - a gem in a litte town. Room not...

For quite some time my Husband and I wanted to take a weekend fishing trip to Rio Vista and stay at the Rio Sands Lodge. In November 2012 we decided this is what we'd do for our 31st Wedding Anniversary. The office staff was very helpful and friendly; we even sent an email with a question and they responded promptly....

The website online is pictures probably when it was first built. It is gross and disgusting. I was there to spend 11 days. I was there for work. I only stayed 3 days and that was hard. The first room I was in was so dirty. The floor was so gross. There was hair everywhere. The bathroom was nasty. The...
