Aileen is a complete and utter rock star! I hope they never get rid of her as an employee! To start I messed up with my booking online because we had been driving all day and I didn't realize it was just after midnight. So I technically booked a rook for later that day at 3 PM and not 2 am. It was non refundable as well. Called in completely skeptical I would get help but I tried anyhow and she was so understanding and accommodating!!! It was an all around easy check in and great experience! Thank you Aileen!!!
This is my 4th time visiting the Pullman. We came up here for Thanksgiving and stayed 4 days. The rates were fantastic and the rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Having the option for adjoining rooms was convenient for us. The lobby was clean, and although the bar/restaurant was closed due to Covid, the sitting areas were safely spaced. The staff was friendly and professional. A special shout out to Jennifer the front desk manager. She was my first contact by phone and had alerted me to the special rate they had. I was glad to meet her when we checked in. Starbucks and a market was close by. Overall, staying at the Pullman made our Thanksgiving stay so pleasant. We’ll be back!
Had a great stay , Norbert I believe was his name at the front desk was very welcoming and made me feel like I was at home . Definitely would stay here again . Received a complimentary upgrade with a beautiful view
I decided to move over to the Pullman when the hotel I was staying with did not live up to it’s name. I was a bit apprehensive about staying at the Pullman due to the reviews I read on my trusted Tripadvisor. My first contact was Jennifer via the telephone. She was professional and gracious. Spent time with me on the phone describing my options and the prices. Upon arrival I dealt with Erika, also very professional and welcoming. I arrived in my room, everything was beautiful, very clean, peaceful. An obvious upgrade from my previous night at another hotel. In looking around my room, I discovered no coffee maker ( gasp!) I called Erika at the front desk, she informed me the coffee makers were removed from the rooms due to another “ high touch point” I could argue there are far more “ high touch points” than a coffee maker but I did not! Erika had a coffee pot with all the supplies I needed immediately, problem solved, happy guest! I understand some of the previous reviews and what they complained about. The parking fee is pretty expensive and I do not agree with it, but I would not let that deter me from staying. Very few employees in the hotel, no valet. Restaurant and bar closed. Market place is only open from 7am to 12pm. Due to all the restrictions in San Mateo County, I believe they are doing their best considering the circumstance . The plus side to everything closed down. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The employees that are there are very patient and accommodating. If you are on trying to decide on the Pullman, go with an open mind. Things are not “ normal” at the moment. Give them a chance. My stay at the Pullman was luxurious. I will be back when I return to the Bay Area for my visits. Jennifer and Erika were wonderful!…
The Pullman is located next to a lagoon. It has excellent access to freeways. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The refrigerator in our room was not working. One call to the front desk and a working unit was provided within 10 minutes. The only negative was an expensive $28 per day for parking.
