During booking we requested a king room and my friend had no preference. We checked in around 11 P.M. in night... 357 stating there is no king bed room available, I gave my credit card and said that I will pay for my friend as well as he is part of me team... 929 which he realized a king bed room...

Naomi was friendly and efficient checking us into conjoining rooms at the front desk...

...To our surprise our room was ready and available. The front desk personnel set us up and we went to our room... We paid for the signature king room, but once getting into our room realized it wasn’t the correct room... We called the front desk and she explained that it was the only available room at the time... We told her that we would just wait for the room the be clean, especially since we paid the extra amount for the top floor bay views... When the room was ready we went up and realized it was terribly hot... He temp checked the room and it read 77F... When asked if there would be another room available we were told “she said she already changed your room before”...

During booking we requested a king room and my friend had no preference. Second issue - we went for dinner around 9:20 P.M. and a young waiter almost screamed at us because he had to do more work as more people were coming... We got a place in bar and we ordered the food with one drink... We realized that we were charged for three drinks and we looked at the bar guy and he said that he will fix it... He bring another receipt and this time it says two drink... We asked again and third time guy fixed it... Support team can verify it through register and also the amended receipts...

The hotel is well positioned and I did have a rental vehicle to get around ... Coffee / tea facility was a nice addition .Housekeeping was excellent as was Joshua... Joshua was always quick to say hello with a warm smile ... So if you have business in the Silicone Valley or the Bay Area you can not go wrong ...

We utilized The Scroll Bar for the 120+person event and was perfect in every way... The bartenders never missed a beat and handled our group and even hotel patrons during the evening with impressive service and attention... Many stayed at the hotel and all were greeted warmly upon check in and thoroughly enjoyed their stay...

...This is a good option that is close to the SFO airport. Nicely situated on a lagoon and has a somewhat lonely pool (that my kids, ages 10-14, nevertheless took advantage of)... The ScrollBar restaurant was better than it had to be and we all enjoyed our breakfasts there... Very close to the cute restaurants and shopping in San Carlo... A good option for those who do not want to stay in the city but want to be close enough to pop in (as we did to Alcatraz)...
