Check in was fine, some staff were nicer and more responsive than others throughout our 3 night stay though.

Room was actually nice looking and very clean (including the matress and covers comparing it to some of the other reviews and we had no real issues at all with it.

Room has decent lighting options and a dimmer switch for the main lights, USB and one outlet between beds, but behind the table was another outlet.

There are amenities, but they aren't by the sink and instead located in the bathtub on the wall behind the shower curtain, so it's kind of easy to miss and think there isn't any shampoo or soap for the shower when you first arrive and haven't used the shower/tub yet. Bathroom lighting is a bit dim though.

The room had a very large empty area near the TV that could have had more chairs and a larger table provided. The walls were kind of barren in spots and more paintings would have made it a little nicer. There were a few paintings, but some walls were completely bare making it look kind of awkward.

I didn't get a chance to check out the pool at all. Ice machines are located on the bottom floor stairwell at the back. Parking had open parking or first come first serve covered parking (which could be a little tight to get into), but it was nice to have that offered.

Location is right on the 1 so at times making a left turn out or making a left turn to get into the hotel might be a little hard depending on the time of day. There isn't much on the 1 around here in terms of restaurants, but 2 blocks is the Redondo Beach Pier that has a lot of food options as it's not a standard signle straight peir. The prices there are actually a lot cheaper than I was expecting for ocean side food.

Hotel price was really good, compared to most other areas in the greater Los Angeles area as well.

Will most likely end up back here next time I come back...

Stayed 3 nights @ $175/night over a weekend. It's close enough to walk to Redondo Pier and surrounded by places to eat and shop. Close to the fire station which can make for a noisy siren-filled stay. Rooms updated with mod design. Nice tile in bath. They should have gone one step further rather than just painting the enamel tubs which are already showing the wear. And should have replaced flooring with easier to clean vinyl tile. Window panes were filthy. Towels replaced daily upon request but no other housekeeping. Parking is tight but we managed. Front desk and housekeeping staff friendly and helpful when our key cards continued to "lose their mind" and we had to ask for more toilet paper. Here is the one BIG problem. The water flow in the shower. I could spit more water than came from the shower head. Tried adjusting but it just kind of dribbled out. Not enough to rinse shampooed hair. I don't know if it was because ours was on the third floor end unit or what, but they really need to solve that issue. It would be the only thing keeping us from a return visit...

I booked here last minute and booked a double Queen room but downgraded to a single Queen on arrival. The room was clean but basic. No bedside lamp, no plug for the bath, soap dispenser fell off the wall when used. TV didn’t work but was soon fixed once I’d reported it. The aircon was great and worked well.
The only thing I would say as a lone female traveller was that I didn’t really feel safe at night, the door wasn’t that secure and had one deadbolt. You could see daylight around the door and hear people outside the door laughing and smoking pot. It really wasn’t that cheap although I get that prices are high because it’s summer. The manager was pleasant and I would stay here again but not by myself.

This place was the worse place I’ve ever stayed at! The cost I payed for one night was $180.00 they didn’t have a set up for coffee/ no breakfast but what really upset me was when I tried to set the clock it was unplugged but once plugged it in I noticed I change the time because it was busted” I took it to the front desk told the clerk and she said would have it replaced but never did” they had no lamps on each side of the bed as was mentioned by another guest, they had the tv on the dresser but they still had the tv wall rack up on the wall what an eye sore!
Did I mention when we walked in the door it smelt like “RAD” they must have used a fogger” of it. And then the parking spot next to ours had a giant oil spot someone did and it was there even the next day when we left.
Also the bed cover was stained with a black mark on it.
I went down right away with these to show it was there before we got there, remember they want an $80.00 deposit when you come in. And I think I saw they charge you $6.00 a night for parking there, ya can you believe it “
I will never stay at this place again. Who ever owned before didn’t take of it and now these owners can care less for the people but only the cash it seems.
I did leave a good tip for the housekeeper though, it’s not their fault the management failed.
Sense they never replaced the alarm clock radio I used the air conditioner all night it because it would switch off and on every half hour in fact it turned off at 10 am one hour before the checkout time at 11.00am that was actually perfect.
One other thing you need to know all rooms are on the first floor are above the parking lot you either take the stairs are the one dirty elevator.
Please note, would someone please grease the wheels on that elevator it has this clicking sound I had to put my body and arms out across the back of it holding on incase it failed and I would go down slammed from the 3rd floor down to the 1st floor, you’ve seen the cartoon”🥸
One good thing they don’t have smoking in the rooms, because once outside you have a choice of smelling menthol brand and the other what I think was skunk witch turned out to be dope after I watch 3 guys across from my room doing.
“Well there are all types of different people out there and so some of you may not mind this type of place.
I messed up so pls don’t do the same.
Take care.

Stayed here while attending a track meet. Needed something clean that was close to the school. We would only be there to sleep and shower. The photos on the site looked like this was an older hotel that had been remodeled. It looked fun/hip. The hotel and room don't resemble the photos at all. We were given a handicapped room on the second floor. A non-handicapped person could not stand under the shower. I could handle that but there was NO HOT WATER. The water from the both the sink and shower were ice cold. I called the desk and was told to let the water run for 15 minutes longer. Still no warm water. I ask to change rooms and was told no, only the manager could do that. I was told that they would call a maintance person, it was after 9:30 pm. About 30 minutes later the guy from the front desk came up and messed with the shower for 20 minutes, told me it was working. I ask about the sink and was ignored. Next morning went to shower, ice cold water. I complained when I checked out and was told, "weren't you told exactly how you have to turn the shower on?" My response to her was if I didn't know how to to turn a shower on why would there still not be hot water in the sink. Again, ignored. BTW, this dumpy hotel charges $6 to park in thier lot and there are no coffee makers in the room. What a scam.

Called to work something out due to a scheduling issue that was out of my control (Conference dates switched) & got charged nearly $200 for a no show. When I spoke with them, not only were they rude as hell, but could care less about the issue. All they cared about was their money & were rude, dismissive & disrespectful. I spoke to an agent as well as their manager & they both told me to screw off basically. I WILL NEVER go through them & hope they figure their management thing out. Unbelievable. Can't stand business/people that have no sense of customer service whatsoever.

Booked a room after staying here about a month ago. The first room was on the 2nd floor and was average, neat and clean, good for a night or two. The second time was very disappointing. We were given an ADA accessible room and I would have been horrified if I was disabled. It was late and we didn’t bother to try and change rooms, we just crashed without looking at much in the room.

The room was not swept, the faux wooden floor was uneven and had stains, ugh! The curtains were tattered, the phone was falling to pieces, there was no box of tissues and absolutely no extra roll of toilet paper! No clock. The top of the toilet tank didn’t fit correctly.

The bedding seemed clean but I saw a roach on the nightstand and a dead spider on the floor in the morning. The “closet” had no door and the iron and hair dryer were thrown on a top shelf. How could someone in a wheelchair reach them? The room needs paint badly. It took forever for the water in the sink to get hot and the sink was not in the bathroom and not exactly close to the bathroom door. Overall just terrible, definitely not a boutique hotel mentioned in their description.

We knew we hadn’t booked a room at the Hilton, but man this place looks 100x worse than the photos. The rooms just seem dirty, the stairwells smell like trash, and the windows barely had locks on them and I was concerned for our safety and safety of our items. The beds were barely comfortable, our light switch was broken…. Just overall very unimpressed. We understand everything is expensive in Cali, but we definitely didn’t get what we paid for. Id advise you to stay somewhere else for sure

I am a member of the us military who was quarantined and begged to change dates. They agreed and then charged me without ever checking in and now refuse to help or offer any options. I would of loved my solo staycation but now that’s $200 gone and no response or resolution. Very unkind and unprofessional extremely disappointing in this hectic time.
