Randy Rhandus at Valet was the sweetest and so friendly... He was so patient and helpful with getting us loaded up in our car up everyday with two impatient toddlers and many bags and strollers... We were staying here for a wedding and the staff did everything they could to make our stay and comfortable and easy as possible. One example of this was Airamis, the valet who volunteered to drive our car and pickup our elderly moms so they didn't have to walk to and from the hotel and wedding reception... If you're in Redondo Beach, I'd highly recommend this hotel and the great service they provide their guests...

There was no reply and I even followed up days after... Me and my boyfriend are hoteliers from Aspen, Colorado as well and know protocols... I just don't understand why the prepaid reservation cannot be resolved when I sent over my confirmation email and also SG airlines has been trying to reach out but no one has been able to help...

We had our final honeymoon stop in this hotel and were amazed by the welcoming attitude of the staff and especially the kindnesses and big smile of Chelsea Walsh (the supervisor of the reception desk). Our entire stay we could count on her relentless help and support in all our endeavours, such as getting a cab on a Saturday evening to downtown LA (which was a nearly impossible challenge)... Her help really saved our night and we will never forget her effort (she even ran across the street to make sure we would get the cab in time)... People like her make sure this hotel is one of the nicest stays we had during our trip across the US...

We had Sheena from sales assist with setting up everything for the party and always did her best to make time to answer questions or assist us with any aspects of the party, definitely was a big help in making the party a success... Julio made sure everything ran smoothly and ensured all guests were taken care of, always listened to our requests... The servers Eduardo, Ivan, Maria and Michelle were always making sure everyone got their food and if anything was needed they would take care of it... The bartender James was excellent in making the drinks and I saw many of the guests going back often to get his drinks, very good at what he does... Everyone did a great job and all the guests, including ourselves, enjoyed our time there, would recommend if the opportunity is given...

She held our luggage' for us while we were out and when we came back to check in, our luggages were already in our room... Bianca was also nice and accommodated our needs... What a lovely stay our entire family had... We're coming back this summer to have a cozy and fun stay again in the South Bay...

...It felt so warm and cozy and it was decorated beautifully for the holidays. A special shout out to Randy Rhamdas and Waqqas Haider at the valet... We were visiting for a work holiday event and they were super helpful assisting us load up the car and were extremely friendly...

We held a corporate dinner and stay at the Portofino for important executives flying in from throughout the country... Beautiful setting, gorgeous views, excellent service and fresh, beautifully served food... Thank you GM Drew Berry for the superb local venue and very well trained staff - we will be back, highly recommend for both personal and business travel!...

...I loved the feel of the hotel when I first entered. The lobby is visually appealing and offered many conversation areas for guests to relax and gather with their group... Beds were small, no luggage racks, poor lighting in the bathroom, small bathroom, temperamental toilet, smoke alarm went off from steam in shower, walls were paper thin, beds sunk to the middle, etc... The pool was small and one couldn't look out at the water when seated, view was blocked by concrete wall... There is a bar in the hotel lobby but it never was open... You had to go across the parking lot to their restaurant to get a drink...

We were staying here for a wedding and the staff did everything they could to make our stay and comfortable and easy as possible. One example of this was Airamis, the valet who volunteered to drive our car and pickup our elderly moms so they didn't have to walk to and from the hotel and wedding reception... If you're in Redondo Beach, I'd highly recommend this hotel and the great service they provide their guests...

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the hotel and we will definitely be back. The hotel staff was very welcoming and was excited to share in our celebration (even bringing up a bottle of champagne)... We had an ocean view room that was much larger than expected from what we saw in pictures... We had drinks on our balcony while watching the sunset... The room itself was very comfortable, had plenty of room and I wish we could’ve brought home the bed because it was like sleeping in a cloud... Even the room service was good and came much faster than expected...
