2 horrible cabins/cottages: Beds very old. Springs poke through. Bed moves when you move. Parking spaces for vehicles for the nearby RV sites are behind the cabins with loud tow vehicles just literally 3 feet from the bedroom. Loud scary way to be awaken early in the morning or late at night when they park..wow. TV s are placed very high you have to strain your neck up to see. Kitchen plates and utensils are old and unattractive. Window blinds all don’t work. Sliding glass door lock provides little security. The couches are very old and cannot be used realistically for beds as advertised. Heater is disturbingly loud. I reserved cabin 60 that had parking and they gave me 61 with no parking. They wanted $15 more for parking a day. I could not stand 61 for the one night so I cancelled since they gave me the wrong cabin. After much rude bulling from the office staff they still charged me for 3 nights. Don’t rent there. You won’t last the 3 night minimum. And if you have a problem they wan’t let you talk to explain your position. They just rudely interrupt and quote policy without admitting their mistake.…
We loved this park. It was beautiful in November- the foliage and cool temps were wonderful. Our pull-thru site was very easy to pull in to, and the hookups were in great condition. Due to covid the office and store were closed, but our reservation packet was waiting for us by the door. The dog park was neat and clean and secure. There was some I-5 noise outside but we didn't notice any when inside our trailer. The only complaint I have is the extremely loud leaf blower being used - especially before 9am. We are very happy that those things are being outlawed. Hoping management does away with their's soon. We would love to stay here again if ever needing a place in the Redding area.
Good space in between RVs. Not crowded. Pool was closed in November, but in August it was nice and clean. Good wi/fi if you need it. Fairly close to freeway, but not bothersome. Friendly and efficient staff. Pastry in the morning at clubhouse.
Easy check-in and Bridget in the office was very kind. We stayed in full hookup pull-through concrete pad site #66. Leveling on concrete pads is usually an absolute breeze but this one was tilted to the side. Perhaps they did this to prevent water from pooling? Very bad design. We appreciated the 20/30/50 amp plugs on the electrical post as it allowed us to run 2 A/C units simultaneously in 100+ degree heat. Major plus! There was decent tree shade as well. Free wifi was provided for 2 devices and it was blazing fast at our site. The 24 cable channels were also wonderful. The park is located close to I-5 but we didn't notice any road noise at night. Laundry is reasonably priced at $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Dryers are in bad shape and should be replaced. Washers were ok. Clean bathrooms and showers. A small pool is located near the office but we didn't try it. Propane is available near the office.…
This is a well maintained park with level sites. It has a smallish swimming pool (which was open with covid19 restrictions). There are several restaurants that offer delivery to this park. This is a good overnight option when traveling from California to Oregon. Enjoy!
Very nice park. Bathrooms VERY clean. Paved roads. Concrete pads were pretty level. Nicely landscaped. Continental breakfast offered but we didn't partake. Only stayed here one night and left early the next day.
We stayed a week on our way from Oklahoma to Vancouver. We are 63’ with coach and trailer so access is a concern. This RV park is doing everything well. Friendly, clean and accessible. Park is attractive with nice scenery. Deer and turkey wandered through the park several times during our stay. Restrooms/showers/laundry are all excellent. Close to hiking/biking/kayaking and lake shasta. Safari RV parts/repair is just south a couple of exits if you have any repair/maintenance needs. Excellent park.
This was our first RV park stay and it was a good choice to access the areas near Redding. The park is North of Redding by a couple miles and right off I-5 for convenience. The park is well maintained, clean bathrooms and showers, pool and spa. The laundry facilities were updated. The managers were friendly and helpful. The park attracts short term and long term guests. Everything was orderly and felt safe when we were around and when we were away from camp.
While traveling thru the Redding area I had pre reserved a pull thru site for a one night stay. The park was easy to reach from I 5 & we didn’t hear the road noise from our site. The pull thru site was very easy to get our truck & 5th trailer into. Park was super clean & there were deer & wild turkeys roaming about which was nice to see. Didn’t get to use the pool or spa but they looked very well cared for.
Super clean park with nice restrooms and great laundry facilities. This was such a welcome stop after a few more primitive campgrounds prior. Close to Redding, yet far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!
