Beautiful Location in Redding "on" the Sacramento River Trail. Built in 1998 we have three private rooms with full baths/balconies, lush outdoor grounds with ponds and waterfalls, fire pit, evening wine, bicycles (walk or ride to the Sundial Bridge) and breakfast. Conveniently located in a quiet west side location. Whether it's business or pleasure we have what you want. Out secret is getting out! (Wireless available)

Very rarely do we go to the same place more than once...Now we've been here twice and I'd go again in a heartbeat....Such a nice alternative to a motel/hotel chain or Victorian-type B & B....Very modern, comfortable and clean...We stayed in the "North" room this time..I'd say the "West" room, in which we stayed in last time, has more room/space......Our "North" room closet was just too small for a multi night stay for two...It was very chilly with some rain when we were here so we LOVED the little electric fireplace....Beautiful view of snow-covered Mt. Shasta Bally out our window! We really enjoyed all Redding had to offer, especially the Sac. River Bike Trail...... The Apple's, Connie and Rick, were so hospitable and nice.... Breakfast has improved quite a bit, but still it's

This Bed and Breakfast is fantastic. It is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood along the Sacramento River. From the moment we arrived, until we were packing to go, we were treated as friends. Rick and Connie were great hosts and made us feel welcome for our entire stay. Our room was very comfortable had a beautiful view. The garden is exceptional and very peaceful. We even left our windows open at night and loved falling asleep to the sound of the fountains in the garden. They also have a gate that leads out to a beautiful walk along the Sacramento River that we took advantage of a few times. It was absolutely beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious and in fact, I asked for two of Connies recipes and have since then cooked them for my family! I would

This is probably the nicest B&B we've ever stayed in. It's tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood, but this is not some pokey old converted house. It was built to have everything you'd want in a B&B. Connie and Rick are excellent hosts and have it down to an art--they offered just enough friendly service, help, and hospitality to make us feel welcome and at-home (only better), without being the least intrusive. And the place is immaculate! Our room was spacious, pleasantly furnished, & very comfortable, and the private bath was spotless. We were offered wine and the use of their gorgeously-landscaped yard to relax in the evening, and a delicious breakfast was served on the patio the next morning. There's a tv room downstairs if you want it, and the property sits

Stayed here three nights and did not want to leave. Ric and Connie know how to run a B and B. Within minutes of arriving I felt as if I was going to be visiting with friends instead of normal vacation accomodations. The photos on the website while accurate, do not really show how nice the house and yard really are and you will not find a place cleaner than this with nothing out of place. My one complaint was going to be a squeaking noise during the night which I located the next morning. A bamboo shoot was rubbing against the gutter. Before I could even bring it to Ric's attention the problem was taken care of. The bedroom was large and the bed as comfortable as any I heve slept in. Breakfast each day was fruit, blueberry french toast, banana muffins, granola, yogurt and

The Sacramento river trail is a great place to walk or ride a bike; and it's a hundred yards from your room. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The hosts are more like family and bend over backward to make you feel at home. I've been to Apple's River House B&B twice in the last year and can't wait to return. The breakfast is always very tasty with lots of fresh fruit to compliment the main entree. Jim and Georgia.

We've been coming to Apple's B & B for years and each year it gets better. The beautiful location, right on the Sacramento River, is perfect for walks, bike rides or a run. Rick and Connie are amazing hosts, who make sure each room is perfect; changing and enhancing the decor regularly. Their leisure and dining suggestions are always "right on." Breakfasts are great, whether you desire something light or a full blown breakfast. Would we stay anywhere else? Never! Enjoy! You'll be glad for the experience. As a business traveler I have stayed at countless, and often times endless, hotels, motels, inns, and bed & breakfasts'. Apples' River House Bed & Breakfast has definitely become my favorite! The time old saying, "Location, Location, Location", holds true for Apples' B&B. It is located near many excellent eateries, the Sundial Bridge, and the Sacramento River and Trail. The accommodations at the B&B were above all expectations. The B&B and the individual rooms are kept immaculate. The beds are comfortable and often times I think I get a better nights rest than at my own home! Breakfast's are always delicious. You will not be disappointed. After that being said, the best part of staying at Apples' is the host's, Rick and Connie. They are beyond gracious and

My husband and I recently stayed at Apple’s River House for two nights in the North Room; after reading other posts I’m compelled to clarify the facts of this beautiful modern B&B. Our room was unique and very nice; it had a very comfortable queen bed, a faux wood stove for atmosphere, a large bathroom with a garden tub and two chairs for sitting and reading, a balcony overlooking the very private outdoor garden with a view of the western mountains and the neighborhood; which by the way is separated by their gorgeous yard surrounded by a honeysuckle covered fence line that completely surrounds the yard, the river trail itself and a small undeveloped field. Very very quiet and cozy indeed. We came to see the town and sundial bridge which is an easy walk right out their gate on

Our recent 3-nights at Apple’s House B & B was a most enjoyable business/pleasure stay. The host and hostess are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Redding has many, swell restaurants, so recommendations and directions with map, are most needed by Richard. We stayed in the West Room, which is larger than the other two bedrooms. It included a large oval tub, (other rooms had showers only) two sitting chairs with footstool, and a small table with two chairs. In addition, we used them all, it was nice having extras like this when staying more than a single night. Just so you know, your stay is actually in their personal home. When making reservations you are told this. You will be sharing with them as their guest, in their kitchen and dining table, the living room, the large

A friend and I decided we needed a short get away. Apples' River House Bed and Breakfast turned out to be the perfect spot to set out and explore the Sacramento River, Sundial Bridge, Mount Shasta and Lassen Volcanic National Park. Ric and Connie provide a relaxing atmosphere with wine and a beautiful outdoor oasis. They are knowledgable about the area and happily give you a locals recommendations on things to do. The rooms are modern, clean and inviting. Breakfast was great with plenty of fresh fruit and coffee (always ready early). We will most certainly come back to Redding and definitley stay at Apples' River House Bed and Breakfast.
