This is a nice quiet rv park. Lots of long termers but still nice not trashy. I would give it a higher rating if it wasn't for the VERY poor customer relations of its manager and the terrible wifi. The last park manager was amazing but she moved on. They brought Duke in and it seems he doesn't care about his customers. Very deeming to females and very agrumentative. Stay away if you want good service.
Within walking distance of green barn whiskey kitchen and if you are up to it starbucks. Also very close to dollar general for any basic needs, front desk attendants are WONDERFUL. Very quiet clean park, love it here.
It's pouring outside but tonight the sprinklers will come on without fail. If the ground starts to dry up you can be assured it will be a mud hole by morning. They apply their rules randomly. A tiny dog can be off leash and encroach on others but a different dog will be thrown out for breathing. They set the speed limit at 3 mph and lecture everyone even when you stay within the limit but then the employees and owner drive through at 10 mph. Again, the rule will get applied dependent upon the mood of the day. If you want to pay to be in a mud pit sardine can where you can be verbally abused randomly then by all means stay at Red Bluff RV Park. They will be happy to take your money so they can pay for all the water they waste.
We were evacuated with a moments notice and were forced to stay in a Walmart the night before our stay at Red Bluff RV. It was a heat wave in the mid 100s. After a miserable night at Walmart, we reached out to the new managers at the park. They were very welcoming and reserved a space for us and our in-laws with their rig. Upon our arrival we were greeted with friendly faces and very helpful. They assured us they would have a place to stay as long as we were displaced. Our stay was very nice. Plenty of shade and very quiet at night. The managers seemed to be about all the time working and available for any questions or needs. Nicely graveled and paved park. Very little dust. Very pet friendly and had sprawling lawns to exercise our big dogs. I highly recommend this park while traveling on I-5. Located about a mile or so from the freeway. …
Shari the manager was friendly and welcoming, even remembered me from last year when I camped in the same park when traveling in the area. She had some good restuarant suggestions too. Spent one night and everything worked out fine as usual. Will return on some future camping trip. Restrooms and showers were fine.
We pulled into this RV park while we were traveling on I-5. I usually check reviews before pulling into a park but did not do so for this one. When I read the reviews this morning, I was so surprised! We found it to be a really good stay. When talking to the receptionist while we were still on the road, she was so very kind and welcoming. Arriving after dark and after office hours went smooth and easily. Easy to pull into level sites, easy self registration that also allowed for use of our debit card. Bathrooms were very clean, showers were great!. Thanks for a good stay. This is probably a caution about reviews, you can't always take them at face value.
Family obligations meant we needed someplace to stay for a week. This could be a great place but... the office is hardly open (9-12/3-5 if you are lucky (it took a week for us to actually get someone on the phone!); many trees need serious trimming by an arborist - take care when pulling in or exiting; there are way too many water leaks and sewerage issues; slides? you need extreme caution before opening. (Current park managers are not reliable in putting a large rig into a large spot - they are NOT RV people...) You may have to move a time or two to fit; Wifi is sketchy or nonexistant; pool - take your chances (too many chemicals we discovered); spaces are no longer level but many are OK...(last year the then manager took his time to level each and every space and the roads! All that work is history!); if you get a space with street light, blackout curtains are needed as lights are level with RV windows. Sadly, managers continue to park their personal vehicle at the entrance making it impossible for two rigs to pass. WHY they need to drive to the 'office' is silly as the park is not that big and they could actually walk the few feet... Seriously, the owners (a corporation is what we have been told) need to replace current park managers for this park to survive! Get people who understand RVers!…
Was going to spend a few months here, but the managers were so wishy washy, and spent the night under horrible conditions. Got my motor home wet from a sprinkler left unattended and had to ask a person how to get a hold of them, and someone told me the manager knew it the day before and just told them, yea I know. Will never stay there again. It was a stopping place for us for years.
This place was really nice a year ago, but now there is no tv at all... only one dryer working, and the internet sucks. I was shocked to see the prices have gone up a lot and you have to pay for your own credit check so you can stay here. The deposit is the same as the monthy rate. Watching all the long term people pulling our. Says a lot for this old park.
Great little park in town away from the I5. The property is well maintained, the pool was closed for the season while we visited.WIFI was reliable. The managers running the park were very friendly and helpful. Would have rated higher, but gravel sites we will definitely stay again if in the area. Small grocery just around the corner and a great Mexican restaurant too.
