I am disabled, We brought my service animal. He was treated as a celeb. Dog bed in room when on arrival. We asked for logs for our fireplace. They were there within 5”. The renovation did not destroy the 100yr old charm. Aged whiskey tasting expensive but got some seriously aged samples, including 4 Roses. Town adjacent to property. Don’t miss Mille Fleurs Restaurant. 5” walk. Staff kind and anticipated needs, never obtrusive. It was our 22nd anniversary as a gay couple; nothing but well wishes, no awkwardness. Not cheap. But for special occasion, we’ll worth it.

We were upgraded to a suite with elite Marriott points. The room was very old, musty. Outlets were not covered and were located in the baseboards. Sparse and old conglomeration of furniture. At $400 per night it was extremely disappointing. This could be a spectacular property if Marriott would spend the money to refurbish the rooms. The massage at the spa was great, but the spa has no hot tub or other amenities. Bottom line is we will never return here!

I want to begin by saying that the staff there is wonderful. However our room smelled like a mixture between raw eggs, sewage and sulfur. It was awful and disgusting. The bathroom was so small that my knees touched the sink cabinet when I used the toilet and my husband had to turn his entire body around to the side to use it. There was no room for his legs in front of him! And unfortunately I dropped something that rolled under the bed and there must have been decades worth of garbage, dust and debris under there. It was absolutely disgusting. Very shocking for the price we paid and for it being a Marriott property.

A beautiful, intimate Inn. Elegant, laid back southern California vibe. We enjoyed all everything about the property; the room, our deck, pool, the people and dining on the terrace. Everyone was helpful. We liked the decor so much we inquired about their sofa in the lobby and they were able to provide us with those details. We know have that sofa in our family room. We'll be back again soon.

Needed reservations for the pool but they didn't honor them, so it got extremely awkward with other patrons who didn't want to move out of their loungers during our reservation time. Didn't have any space at the restaurant for breakfast after we were told we didn't need a reservation -- 45 min wait. The room wasn't in great shape and was located by the entrance so it had thick shutters on the windows that didn't fully open. It was dark all the time like a prison. Was hoping for a beautiful relaxing weekend and got stress and agita. $400 a night down the drain.
