My wife and I were planning a short mid-week getaway, and were heading down south. We didn't even realize that there was a Ritz down there. We took a chance because of the Ritz name, since we've had so many great experiences with their properties. Of course, we read many reviews beforehand. That being said, we were expecting a good... I have stayed here one year ago and kind of disappointed at that time, but the management did a good communication afterward and so I think I should give this property another try after a year's improvement. Don't get me wrong but since this is a Ritz so I think it deserved to be better. Pros: 1. Pre-arriving communication. Since... More

This hotel rewards you in many ways . The staff were outstanding and even when I saw the usual high maintenance guests playing up they were calm, professional and polite. I wouldn't have been ! The State Fair restaurant is a very pleasant experience and even though the Steak restaurant overlooking the valley is fine, it's a little pricey and... More

We visited this property during August, not "high season" for the desert when temps reached 108. Perched high on a bluff the hotel seems a world away from the city below, and offers great "panoramic" views. Rooms and public areas are tastefully and richly appointed, and the large staff is uniformly attentive, friendly, and service oriented. There is a $30... More

My husband surprised me with a trip to this property as a celebration getaway for my retirement from the school district. From the moment we pulled up to the the very last one leaving every staff member acknowledged me and said congratulations! They even had a little card and gift bag full of yummy toffee at check in. The room... More

For a Ritz, this is a generous 3 stars. The staff for the most part are actually really great. Very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are very nice to walk through, especially in the evening. The beds are very comfy. Rooms are not thoughtfully planned out. No charging stations at bedside, so you have to either plug your computer or... More

This is our favorite hotel in Palm Springs because of the beautiful property and views, the spa, the adult pool and the peace and quiet. The restaurants are also good. We enjoyed our meal at the Edge Steakhouse, but due to the menu, will probably stick with Mastros. The only real complaint we had was with the adult pool. It... More

Dear Sandy Y, Thank you so much for selecting The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage! I am absolutely delighted to learn that we are your favorite hotel in the Palm Springs Valley. So, what can I say about the Rancho Mirage. The property is simply sensational. The staff are so helpful, they can't do enough for you. The room is spacious and my advice would be to get a ground floor room as you walk straight out of your room, into the terrace out into the pool area. Plus, at night they... More

I have been going since 1987. This was the first time since the renovation. It is gorgeous. Beautiful all the way around. The staff are attentive. The food is very good. The beds are perfect. The views unparalleled. We loved the adult pool. There was live music at night in the bar.
