I travel a lot for work in California, and Ada’s place is absolutely one of my favorites I’ve visited! So charming, clean, and very comfortable. Has everything you need to feel at home, to cook a meal, relax and watch tv, read a book... I walked in and just let out a huge sign of relief! I instantly felt calm and safe here. Lots of options for food nearby too! Next time I come to Quincy I’m crossing my fingers they have a spot. They’ll always be my first choice
There's a reason Ada's is rated #1 in Quincy. Not sure what I can add to the other reviews. It is so unique, peaceful, and has everything you would would need for a home away from home. You can also walk to downtown Quincy which is beautiful, friendly, fun, and unique in itself. I stayed at Ada's cottage and am looking forward to returning with family. Corinne was very helpful and made sure I was settled in comfortably. What a great experience! Thank you.
Stay at Ada’s Place if you are passing through or visiting Quincy, Ca! Each cottage is decorated with lovely antiques and items from yesteryear but with all the comforts of today! We were welcomed with the lights on and the cabin warmed...what a nice touch! The cabin had a front and back porch to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. The kitchen enabled us to enjoy our snacks, happy hour, coffee and breakfast in the comfort of our own “home.” Ada’s Place is unique and relaxing and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Quincy!
We were in town for a wedding and were lucky to book Ada’s Place for our stay. We booked Hop Sing cottage and Ada’s cottage late in August. Both were very nicely furnished with comfortable couches and chairs and very comfy beds, everything spotlessly clean. The shower in Hop Sing was awesome and there were plenty of clean towels. We didn’t cook much but everything looked like it would have been there if we wanted to cook. The coffee pot works great! Tucked away on a quiet residential street it was still walking distance to great restaurants for breakfast and dinner (we loved Jeffreys pub for breakfast!) And several nearby bars and pubs for evening rendezvous with our family. Don’t miss the wine bar tucked behind a bakery on the main street, where there was live music at night. In addition to dining and drinking, we hiked in the beautiful Plumas County lake country area, splendid hikes. Recommend the one to the Bears Lake loop. Would highly recommend Ada’s Place as cozy alternative ro boring motels, with four cottage is available would be lovely for a small family reunion. L and R…
Stayed here recently while visiting family. The cottage was great - had every amenity you might want, especially for an extended stay. The location is wonderful, the area charming and quaint. You can walk to downtown, the museum, restauarants, or just take a nice stroll. Everything was very clean and neat. Most importantly, PEACEFUL. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back for sure!
