We were a party of 4 , two couples and had booked this b&b for its relative closeness to Newmarket racecourse (circa 15 min drive). When I booked I was taken with the friendliness of Tracey and was delighted to hear that her partner , Nick, had a chauffeur business too. This meant we could be taken to and from...

This was a wonderful stay: I have to say sorry to Tracey I was exhausted when I arrived so wasn't very sociable, but Tracey (the owner) was so friendly and kind! She offered me beer, milk, (not in that order) and had even remembered about my car being broken down a few weeks before when I booked and enquired how...

What's in the tin? we were wondering, as Tracey showed us the charming bedroom after having greeted us a couple of minutes earlier as though we were old friends (which we were fast becoming). Apart from the tin on the bed it was hard not to notice the sink area with tea and coffee making facilities. Not a sachet in...

Exceptional hospitality. This is with no doubt the best B and B I have ever stayed in. Room very comfortable with tea, coffe, cuppa soup and a slice of cake. Food to the highest standard including pre-ordered evening meal. I will be returning.

Our stay was just wonderful, this beautiful & amazing B&B is certainly the best place we have ever stayed. The room we had was the bigger of the two rooms with wonderful views from two windows onto the gardens. Bed & pillows comfy and everything spotlessly clean & fresh. Don't let the shared bathroom put you off, they do supply...

I had a 2 night stay here and was made very welcome throughout. I was in the smaller of the two ground floor double rooms and this might have been a little small for a couple but it was fine for one person, and I slept very well. The generous breakfasts kept me going all day and I was easily...

Warm welcome when we arrived. Rooms well presented very clean with full coffee and tea making facilities plus some cup-a-soup, chocs. and sweets. Large garden although it was too wet when we were there. We didn't book breakfast but comments in the visitors book suggest it would have been good.

I have stayed in many hotels and b&bs but I have to say this is by far the best....ever! I was greeted with a very warm welcome and room on a cold winter's afternoon, very gratefully enjoyed. No request was too much. Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to help me. I must say, the breakfast was delicious...
