I would advise that you consider other options when staying in this area. This "tennis club" is a cheap motel. Calling it a Tennis Club makes it sound upscale; far from the truth. It's dirty, dated, and shabby not in the chic way. I did not want to lay on the bed but I was so tired it became a...

We always stay at this hotel as it's close to family. Also it's one of the few affordable places in the area. The rooms are spacious & they are slowly but surely remodeling. The manager, Eric is great, so is the staff. The breakfast isn't near as good as it used to be & we usually don't bother but the...

This is an older motel. However, our room was clean and seemed to be well maintained. They offer a big complimentary breakfast, which was a nice surprise since we didn't pay that much for our room. The motel employees are extremely friendly and were a great help to me on my travels.

I used to stay here years ago and it was a really nice place. Not anymore. Needs a lot of work and the rooms are not being kept clean. Windows didn't open and the bathroom was in need of repairs. The breakfast was mediocre at best good thing there is a MickeyDs and a Starbucks within walking distance.

Overall the place was a good deal for the price. The bed was hard but the pillows were heaven. It is undergoing some renovation which is looking to add to the overall value of the place. It's new paint adds to the charm of the place. Parking was easy, room was clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was visiting the US Navy Seabee base in Port Hueneme, and decided to stay here for two nights, Kim and the rest of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, maintained, and reasonably priced. There is also plenty of parking and free breakfast. The three things that I did like are that there are no...

I reserved a handicapped accessible room here for a friend and her caregiver who were visiting us. I was a little nervous because of some of the negative reviews on Tripadvisor, but my friend was thrilled with the room and had a great stay. The office even sent someone to help the caregiver when my friend fell and they enjoyed...

This is my 10 or 11th time staying here in the last 5 yrs. It's close to Ventura, harbors, Oxnard, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are big and comfortable and always clean. This hotel is usually priced better than most....and I DO MEAN MOST! However, Casa Via Mar....when are you going to do something about your nasty showers..? Every time...

We stayed here for two nights when on a kayak adventure to Anacapa Island. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. They have a nice upstairs breakfast room with plentiful choices for breakfast. The location is central, but not too scenic. Down the road are grocery stores and fast food of many types. In the rear of the hotel...

This was one of the poorest "value for the dollar" hotels that I've ever stayed. The room was dark, dank, with a thread-worn carpet. The furnishing were at least 30 years old, thrift shop quality. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. It was noisy, especially the hallway outside. We were only given one thin bath towel which appeared very institutional....
