Many reviews already highlighted the interesting aspects of this Yurt cottage build in the early nineties by Bonnie Raitt's brother. Tony, the owner has kept the yurt up to date and comfortable for guests. The bed is fabulous and the shower great. Just sitting outside is a pleasure. We enjoyed the jacuzzi too! Tony provides fresh milk, eggs and orange... More

This was a great find! What a beautiful view inside and out! Very clean and comfortable to stay in. Lots of great amenities and Tony (the caretaker) even makes sure you have food items to make breakfast! It's a lovely touch! Loved it overall and would recommend it to my friends who never stayed in a yurt. Especially loved the... More

Every comfort necessary, beautiful views, lovely tasteful details throughout - the shape of the yurt wraps around you like a peaceful cocoon. A very special place indeed! With access to the Pt. Reyes National Seashore - a great treasure at your doorstep.

This place is absolutely STUNNING! You will not be disappointed! One of the best places I have ever stayed. It's very comfortable and the views are to die for. I will definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly helpful in letting us know of the which touristy things to try.

We spent two nights at Windsong Cottage and enjoyed it immensely. It's cozy, roomy, clean, quiet and close to grocery shopping and hiking trails. We loved eating in and enjoying the beautiful view. The large bed was comfy as was the living room couch for sitting and talking. We enjoyed the hot tub. The owner was friendly and helpful. We'd... More

This was an idyllic place to stay on a weekend with my daughter. Waking up to look up at the sky through the skylight gave a feeling of being in nature, but the cottage was very luxurious. The wood stove made it cozy and the fresh flowers, fruit, and fresh orange juice in the fridge made us feel special and... More

The drive to the yurt is already a huge bonus because the land is incredibly beautiful and the lack of development is refreshing. Upon arriving to the yurt, I immediately noticed that it was very private which was nice. The owner lives next door which was good to know in case of emergencies or just general questions. Tony has a... More

Our three night visit, enhanced by area-rain allowed us to experience the green and lush Marin headlands. At first the thought of staying in a Mongolian yurt seemed primitive, but a warm fireplace, a hot tub and a warrior game made getting away from our own paradise in Santa Cruz completely worth it. Thanks Tony for the splendid hospitality -... More

I am reminiscing about our stay at Windsong and wanted to let you know how much we appreciate what you have created. The level of privacy in the courtyard and the well maintained jacuzzi led to a wonderful experience. The view and proximity to Point Reyes Station kept us appreciating nature and filing our bellies with delicious food.

We recently spent two days at the Windsong Cottage (Yurt). Never have I been so at peace. The yurt is perfectly appointed with everything you need to make easily make the transition from the bustle of "regular life" to the serene beauty of Point Reyes. The green rolling hills off in the distance, the crackling of the fire at night,... More
