My husband and I stayed in the Keeper's Apartment at the lighthouse as part of our 30th anniversary trip. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. This is one of those places you can simply relax and enjoy the beautiful coastline views or go for a hike. There are several trails in the area, and we would have loved to explore the town of Point Arena more. We were delighted at our room. The outside of the apartments is very plain, and looks worn by the wind and waves. However, the inside is completely modern, beautifully furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed visiting with the lighthouse cat, Arena Mina. If you come, be sure to make time for a lighthouse tour and to visit the gift shop and small museum. The guide and the young man working in the gift shop were very friendly and we enjoyed hearing about marine life they had observed while working there. I would encourage anyone to include a stay here in your trip planning. We are so glad we did!!

My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in the newly remodeled Lighthouse Keepers apartment. It was beautiful and very comfortable. Great care had gone into the design of the apartment, which allowed lots of light to come in through the new windows. The new kitchen is a very functional gourmet kitchen with top notch appliances and designer features. The bathroom is large and light and the bed was very comfortable. We were so sorry to only be able to stay for 1 night and we hope to be able to return sometime soon. Thank you!

This was our third stay at the Point Arena Lighthouse in four years - we LOVE it there and have never been disappointed! This time we stayed in the newly remodeled Head Keeper's Quarters - they have done an absolutely outstanding job of laying out the space so it is warm, inviting, functional and beautiful!! We love to cook while we are on vacation (OK, maybe weird but it is what it is) and this kitchen was a chef's delight - the appliances are top of the line and we had all the necessities available at our fingertips. Being on the coast is awesome, the views and walking opportunities are to die for, and the staff at the lighthouse can't be beat - everyone is super nice and very helpful. We especially enjoyed spending time with Arena Mina, the lighthouse cat, She made sure we were happy with our stay and even led us on a walk or two. We highly recommend a stay at the Point Arena Lighthouse to everyone looking for something "unique and extraordinary" - you won't be disappointed!

The Point Arena Lighthouse was an amazing spot for our honeymoon! The views are spectacular and the remote setting makes it perfect for a romantic getaway. The Keeper's Apartment was incredibly spacious and well-furnished. The interior decorating is spot-on and looks even better than in the photos. We felt so comfortable there, like it was our own apartment by the end of our stay. We wish we could have spent so much longer there!

We were fortunate enough to book House 4 for the 4 of us. Recently renovated, it is great. All modern amenities. Very clean. Super quiet, pristine location. Do not go here if you want fast WiFi or a lot of people. DO go here if you want a quiet, secluded, potentially romantic spot to relax, get away from everything and everyone, and catch up on a good book. Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the Pacific or evening wine watching sunsets. Go now!!
