We're a married gay couple who were looking for someplace cool (summer temperature but the other meaning is also valid!) to visit for our July 29th 10th anniversary in 2106 and stumbled across B Bryan Preserve on Trip Advisor. Of course the biggest attraction is the wonderful animals, particularly the zebras and giraffes, but the lodgings are also delightful. Both... More

Loved, loved, loved the Giraffes!! Adorable and had great fun interacting and feeding them. The Preserve does a great job in taking care of their animals. While we did not stay here, but it was worth travelling to the place. We got see the different zebras and antelopes. If you are near do visit and you will be amazed! We... More

We really loved our stay at B. Bryan Preserve. It was the highlight of our vacation, and that's saying a lot, given the long vacation and the great places we stayed. We're really glad that we opted to stay on the preserve itself. The proximity to the animals is great. Sometimes you can hear the zebras. I even liked simply... More

Second trip coming up to see the Giraffes in March 2016. Although all of the hoof stock at BBryan are fascinating creatures, it is the "G Boys" who are our favorites. If you haven't seen them move, it is a slow motion miracle. Love the creatures and the owners of BBryan who are preserving them.

This is an absolutely beautiful place! We stayed in the bridge cabin and it was so comfortable and full of unique posters and beautiful stained glass. And best of all, the animals. Zebras are loose and running around everywhere It's really amazing. They come to the large pond by the cabin. I loved walking around the property early in the... More

A unique change of venue: a cottage in the middle of a preserve trying to protect & increase numbers of endangered species. Taking the tour is a must - the reason you go there. Book with your cottage reservation. Guides with expertise show you the various animals, teaching about their differences & why they are endangered. Scary as they point... More

I can only echo what the previous reviewers have written. We stayed in the Chapel cottage. I am a bit of a fanatic about the cleanliness of my accommodations, and this lovely cabin exceeded my expectations. It is funky and full of antiques, but still immaculately clean from the spa robes to the hot tub to the cooking utensils. The... More

There is nothing bad that can be said about this place except I wish it was closer so I could go more often. The cottages are very comfortable and charming. I wanted to light a fire to warm up after a cool night and the tinder was ready to go all we had to do was strike a match. We... More

We didn't stay at the Preserve although we wish we had. The tour was wonderful. Judy was a wealth of knowledge about her animals and feeding the giraffes was worth the very reasonable price of admission. If you are in the area GO! The 4pm tour was the best!

Wait...did you want some more words??? ;-) Okay...here are a few. The cottage was BETTER and more impressive than the photos. Imagine that, right? Made of reclaimed hardwood. Quality craftsmanship. Antique stained glass windows in every room. Adorable wood burning stove with...get this...marble detailing!!! Light fixtures were about a hundred years old (in a good way) and fully restored to...
