My husband and I booked two nights at Eden Vale with the elopement photographer package. Everything was great! David was charming and kept us laughing through the ceremony. The photographer (Samantha) was incredible and knew exactly where to take the best photos on the property. Our biggest takeaway is how low stress and easy the whole elopement process was at Eden Vale. The room was beautiful and clean. The deep soaking tub was exactly what we needed for a relaxing evening to finish our long day of travel and getting married. Breakfast was delicious! and Placerville has a charming little old downtown area with lots of antique shops and places to eat.
We had the opportunity for a little getaway and had the pleasure of a couple nights at Eden Vale. What a great spot! The inn is secluded and beautiful with lovely grounds, a pond and a fire pit. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and was also great. We have nothing but good things to say about this inn and its innkeepers.
First things first, if you’re trying to decide between two places just book your weekend here!! My boyfriend and I visited Eden Vale Inn for a late Valentines get away and it was just what we needed in the middle of a pandemic. The room was so darling and romantic. One of the coziest places I’ve stayed. They’re adhering very well to the COVID guidelines and I never felt that my health was being compromised. We wanted a relaxing and pretty chill weekend and this was the perfect place to do it. We went wine tasting for a day and they provided us a Wine Club pass which gave us discounts to all the places we attended. It was a beautiful weekend. Thank you Eden Vale Inn!! We will for sure be back <3
My wife and I stayed here for Valentines Weekend, and it was a hit. The B&B itself is utterly charming, built out of a converted barn with plenty of modern amenities. The soaking tub was deep and luxurious, and the grounds around the property were a nice place to take a walk in the countryside. The hosts did a great job of making us feel welcome. The breakfasts each morning were outstanding, and David & Karen were happy to accomodate our dietary requests. To the person who had issues with the location: it's a B&B in the country, it's supposed to be remote. But even so it's less than a 20 minute drive to downtown Placerville and its shops, restaurants, and bars; plus within 30-45 minutes are literally dozens of award winning wineries; and we had no trouble using GrubHub for delivery. There's a convenience store in Gold Hill, about a 10-15 minute drive, with amazing home-made Indian BBQ.…
If you are worried about pulling the trigger, don’t worry one bit. This is a stay of a lifetime! I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to because of my amazing experience... Clean and modern room, romantic setting, beautiful grounds, fabulous and detailed tips for the area/guide, wine tasting voucher, delicious breakfast, seamless check in/out, and to top it off - friendly and polite innkeepers! The outdoor tubs are a unique and nice touch to a fabulous stay. The full place was fully booked during our stay but we did not see one other person or hear anyone (minus check in/out) which made it all that much more peaceful. I will be back and have already recommended the trip to multiple people. Thank you David and Karen for a great stay and even better memories!
