Incredible service and hospitality. The rooms we stayed at were lovely and very comfortable. The bedding was extremely comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. The dogs loved roaming the grounds. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay at a place where you are treated like family….thank you Robin for a great stay.

After not traveling out of the Bay Area in awhile we decided to revisit Placerville & stay at our favorite B&B, The Seasons! We were not disappointed…our room, the B&B on a 3/4 acre landscaped lust garden within walking distance to town rejuvenated our spirits after a tough year for our family. Robyn the owner is a warm host who cares about her guest making sure we were comfortable & informed about the local restaurants & activities. The morning breakfast on the outside deck…delicious!!! We’ll be back soon with our family!!! Bonnie & Ken B 🤗

I love The Seasons. The hubs and I have stayed here twice now and it was nothing short of fabulous! The grounds around the bnb are enchanting, beautiful and tranquil. We stayed in the peach cottage both times. It has a little kitchen and is quite roomy-sleeps 3. The best part is the breakfast. Outstanding homemade quiche, probably the best I’ve ever had no kidding. Berry turnovers from Apple Hill and fresh coffee… So good! It’s also a very short walk in to Placerville Main Street where there are tons of cute shops and places to eat, wine tasting, good beer etc. We will definitely be back again and again. Oh and I almost forgot. The seasons is pet friendly. We were able to bring our two little dogs who loved staying there as well. If you’re going to Placerville make it a point to stay here…you won’t regret it!

Hubs and I did wine tasting in El Dorado County. Looked for a place to stay. We love B&Bs. Two separate cottages behind the main house built in 1859 where Robyn the owner lives. Cottages were once buildings used in a gold stamping business during the gold rush. Lots of antiques and interesting decor. Very good breakfast of quiche and pastries. Best part was the setting with the cottages in the sunken back yard. Lovely perennial gardens, benches and fountains under very old large trees. Quiet and contemplative. Lots of grass for dogs and it is completely and securely fenced to keep the deer out so will even accommodate large dogs. Robyn’s assistant Candace was a delight. Plus she helped carry our bags up a flight of steps to our car to leave.

The Seasons B&B is a great place to stay, particularly for anyone who seeks a quiet location that also is within walking distance to historic Placerville. Robin is a wonderful host(ess). We stayed at the Peach Cottage (once a chicken coop...which we never would have guessed, until she told us). The Cottage is clean and well-appointed for on-the-go travelers (very small TV, which we never turned on--small kitchen with small refrigerator--other amenities--comfortable bed--etc.). We had breakfast each morning on the Peach Cottage deck--wonderful, organic, fresh food that Robin brought directly to us. The location is ideal (on-the-street parking, which was safe and fine on the one-way street) and very peaceful and quiet. We were able to walk into town within 10 to 15 minutes. We definitely would stay at The Seasons B&B in the future. It was reasonably priced, clean, quiet, safe, ideally located, and comfortable.

The Seasons B&B was peaceful and quiet, located in a historic district within a short walk to a variety of restaurants and unique downtown shops. Robyn was an attentive and cheerful hostess - whatever I needed was provided without a fuss. This is my very favorite place to stay in historic Hangtown!

We stayed at the The Seasons B & B in Placerville based on website comments. It is clean and has a very nice setting but nothing special. In the past, other B & B properties offer little treats upon arrival or room amenities to make them unique. Not only was there no treats, there was no person. The room had no bottled water, home made cookies, or dog treats. This is common practice in most B & B situations. The next day, we did meet the owner/operator. Robin is a nice lady, but that was our total interaction. I would question the value of the property. We paid a premium for a standard experience.

This historic property is walking distance from Main Street, Placerville. Robyn makes terrific coffee. Four days in a row we were served a tasty quiche + something else for breakfast. (No eggs or bacon, like a B & B abroad.) There is a small fridge, microwave, & toaster at your disposal in the Peach Cottage, where we stayed. Ripe figs are growing right outside your porch. It was very quiet and the place was very clean. Large closet. The daybed is not particularly comfortable but the queen bed was quite comfortable, The floral & denim comforters were worn-looking. (The same ones from 5 years ago). TV is tiny. Shelves held some helpful & interesting books about Placerville. Robyn had suggestions about what to do. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Love The Seasons B&B. I've been here three times now and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Placerville. Historic property and Robyn knows all the history to entertain you with. Breakfast is always superb and not overfilling. Historic downtown is a hop, skip and a jump away. Love taking a day to stroll and shop and eat. We always bring our three dogs with us. They love that garden. Plenty of room to explore and run around. Will return in 6 months.

Placerville is an adorable town, filled with everything one could want for a week away from it all: great food; quaint shops; dozens of wineries. The Seasons Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place to act as our home in the area. Our cottage room was perfect! The grounds were beautifully kept and the place was so peaceful and quiet. After a day of exploring, and a great dinner at one of Placerville's outstanding dining facilities, there couldn't have been a better place to end each day. Robyn was the best hostess one could imagine. i can't recommend this place more!
