We enjoyed our visit to the Sea Gypsy for a weekend visit. We had a room with an attached living/kitchen which also had a comfortable murphy bed and couch that folded out into a bed. Our room had a balcony and faced the ocean with a beautiful view of the bay and pier on our balcony. Bedroom included a coffee...

Do NOT stay here if you are coming for a relaxing quiet time. My family and I booked 2 nights at the Sea Gypsy and only made it through 1 night before we had to cut our trip short and head home early. The walls are PAPER thin! We rented #104 because it got excellent reviews. We immediately noticed our...

My family just came back yesterday from a three day stay and the view from our ocean view balcony was beautiful! They were doing some maintenance so there was sometimes that we felt our privacy was invaded by workers at the motel. The hot tub was quite dirty. The breakfast was small, a container of orange juice and two types...

Love this place. Right on the beach within a few yards of the surf. Ocean front studios with full kitchen. Very clean and the staff are really nice and helpful. Every studio has a balcony where you can sit and have your morning coffee and enjoy the wonderful view.. You can leave the sliding glass door open and listen to...

This motel can appear a little run down from the outside and even in the rooms the decor is a little out dated, but when you go to the balcony and look outside the ocean is right there and you forget about the outdated decor. If you can I suggest you request a room facing the ocean and I was...

I have stayed here numerous times when visiting Pismo and still keep coming back! The accommodations are simple and outdated, but comfortable and clean. We usually get the suite with a connecting room which is perfect for 4-6 people. Love being able to have a kitchen to heat up leftovers or make breakfast. You can't beat the beautiful view and...

Our family took and extended weekend getaway. The Sea Gypsy was the perfect place to just park our car for a few days and relax on the beach. The room was clean, spacious and had a well stocked full kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Even with a partial view, we were still able to see the whales as they...

The Sea Gypsy is a condo hotel where individual owners rent their unit. Relative to other Pismo hotels, the rooms are a bit smaller but more than adequate. All rooms have been renovated in the last two years. To access the beach, use the exit door across from the laundry facilities, two levels down from the main floor. Parking is...

This was our first time staying at the sea gypsy. Overall the experience was excellent. The location absolutely cannot be beat and most rooms have an excellent full Oceanview. The pool isn't much fun but you can tell from the website photos what to expect. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are very helpful as well. Overall for the...

We stayed at the sea gypsy for a family gathering over Labor Day. The rooms were large and the ocean view from the second floor - even with a building in front of us - wasn't bad. The full-sized fridge was convenient and the location right in town was great. I was a little dubious of the fold-down Murphy bed...
