My fiance and I are having our wedding at the Pinecrest Chalet in October, and they invited us to stay the night to experience the property before the big day. We stayed two nights in Muir, and it was amazing. The cabin has been recently renovated (it's the one they recommend as the "honeymoon cabin" for the wedding couple) and...

There truly aren't enough words to describe just how wonderful and amazing the Pinecrest Chalet and its staff are, but I will try my best to encapsulate just how grateful my husband and I are to have gotten married there. We were recently married at the Chalet on the weekend of 10/15/16, and I have to say, we could not...

This property is owned by the UC Berkeley alumni association. We were there in between seasons, so the facility felt somewhat empty. It is more like renting a cabin than a full-fledged resort. That said, the cabin was comfortable, with quality bedding and towels. The cabin we stayed in had a small kitchen, but only one pot, so if I...

Omg! So terribly terribly TERRIBLY disappointed as to what has happened to our once beloved Pinecrest Chalet!! I can't even explain how horrible it is now...so pricey but what for? Where is the volleyball net? Who in the heck could even play basketball in that idiotic set up? Why is the pool so dirty and with broken tiles? Why aren't...

The Pinecrest Chalet is a beautiful location. The cabins were fantastic and accommodated our family well. The bigger cabins can very comfortably hold a large family, but even the smaller cabins had room for 2 adults and 2 children. The view was phenomenal and the hotel sits right next to a river! The hotel is near multiple attractions for both...

We chose to stay at Pinecrest chalet because of its close vicinity to Dodge Ridge. We stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet that had a full kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave). The chalet was overall clean, on the well-worn side. Functional for certain. Kitchen stocked with just enough place settings and just enough other stuff, but you can make...

We stayed here during the winter break. We had the four bedroom house. It was perfect for four families. It was very cold and snowing so we did not get a chance to enjoy the amenities available at the chalet, but the house was very comfortable and had all the usual amenities to make us comfortable..The location is 2 miles from the Dodge...

We've stayed here twice now for an annual trip we do with 7 families--and it is awesome! The entire staff took great care of us with meals and activities to keep even the little kids in our group (all under 11 years old) fed and entertained. We love the fact that the kids can roam freely in the beautiful woods...
