I stayed at this hotel and small town for two weeks. The staff were very nice and friendly. Weekly rate was great for a place not far from Alpine, El Cajon, and San Diego. Morning coffee and some friendly chats with the staff and other guests were pleasant with the fresh air and surrounding mountains. Nice, friendly staff and excellent... More

It works. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. Room had a fridge, microwave, king bed and TV. Non smoking room was basic. This place is only 20 minute drive to Laguna Meadows. Great place to chill after shuttling Noble Canyon from Burnt Rancheria Campground.

More than adequate for the price......walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The owner was very nice and helpful in giving advice and directions....the town is very small but the facility was perfectly located with scenic surroundings......

This is the only hotel within 15 minutes of Barrett Lake. I fish there once or twice a year and so I always stay at this hotel. There is nothing else around. The rooms are fairly clean and the beds are comfortable. It's also very cheap and like I said convenient for us when fishing. The town is pretty cool... More

After a long drive we discovered this little gem. The price was about right, the room was very clean, and exceptionally large. Wonderful views, with a very woodsy feel. They are pet friendly at no extra cost. WiFi was easy, and pleasantly fast. Right next door was a mini grocery store that had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly... More

Let's start with the basics, this is a low price hotel, you're not going to get many extras for your money. But what you do get is a great package. For your money you'll get a nice, yet simply furnished clean room, freindly staff, TV, fairly quick Internet, en suite facilities, great views of the valley, and one of the... More

Pine Valley seems to be over-run by snotty teenagers, LOL. Hope they can donate their 20" BMX's, try on a shirt & tie, and go to school or work toward bringing value to themselves and surroundings. The forested areas around Pine Valley are gorgeous, the Hotel exterior is beautiful, but the interior is obviously very used and merely maintained. A... More

For cyclists the Inn is very convenient for that last push into San Diego. It is not a budget Inn, Sun-Thur $69+tx, Fri-Sat $79+tx. However you get a very good King bed, clean line, clean large room, micro-wave, fridge/freezer, small FT/TV with direct TV, and free wi-fi. You have a nice sofa and coffee table for TV viewing and a... More

My husband and I have stayed here several times. It's not a four star, but it is clean and the beds are very comfortable. We love the fact that it's in the mountains where it is nice and cool...the office staff are very friendly as well.. Down the street is Calvins sports bar. Good food and great people run it.... I ended up sleeping in this motel by circumstances, just it was getting dark and decided to stop. It was a blessed choice. The room was clean, big, well equipped with all the amenities you'd want. Price is ok. Pine Valley itself being a small community, offers some choice of restaurant and shops. Nice place.
