We stayed two nights and found the inn comfortable and convenient to wineries and the Mendocino coast. The owner was friendly and offered coffee in the morning as well as suggestions for dinner. The room was small but comfortable. There was no TV which was fine with us. It was a good deal for the price.

Stayed here over Christmas and it was delightful. Not a lot of amenities, the wifi is unreliable, but the suite we stayed in was great for my parents and me. Good location for Anderson Valley Wineries and redwood parks. The suite had a surprisingly spacious kitchen. Not a place to be pampered, but a great base of operations for Anderson... More

We came here after spending the weekend in Ukiah, and preferred the laid back, quiet atmosphere of Anderson Valley Inn. Bob the innkeeper was nice, and provided a decent deal for a 5 day stay. We had a difficult time with the wifi so keep that in mind, if you need to be constantly plugged in, then you're better off... More

We have visited the AV Inn on several occasions, most recently this past weekend. The rooms are simple, clean, and have all the amenities we need. We enjoy the absence of: televisions and telephones. The bed and bedding are very comfortable, and the towels are large and posh. Shampoo was provided. We stayed in #6, which is a standard room.... More

We stayed in Room 2 over the past Labor Day Weekend (4 days). We made the reservation at the last minute. What a wonderful surprise! Bob and Lydia have put together a convenient, comfortable, and affordable place right in the center of Anderson Valley. The Inn is located within walking distance of Philo, especially Lemon's Market (the grocery store) and... More

We made a last-minuted decision to stay here and are glad we did. The attached cottages wind their way up an incline for a unique look. The location is excellent for Anderson Valley wine tasting, wine country the way it used to be - friendly and relaxed. That describes the owners, too. Take note that rooms do not have television... The Anderson Valley Inn consists of several cottages. We were in #2 which has a large living/sleeping room with a double bed, a separate bedroom with a twin bed, and a separate fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen contains a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator with a freezer stocked with a bag of ice and additional ice cube trays (nice!). There is... More

We visited on Labor Day weekend this year, our second time in Anderson Valley. We got up to the valley a bit later than planned and went to dinner straight away. The owner was kind enough to 'check us in' over the phone so that we could get to eating! As for the room, it had everything we needed to... More

This is a unique, affordable, charming place to stay!! There are wineries all around, and the owners of the inn have a wonderful garden with a firepit and encourage guests to have a fire and open a bottle of wine in the evenings. The rooms are simple and attractive - no TV, but we did have good Wifi. In the... More

Very basic accommodations. Clean and good value, and the owners were very friendly. Located centrally for wine-tasting, but the entire valley is only 15 miles long or so. Only real complaint is the traffic noise from Highway 128, which was surprisingly loud.
