I was looking for a Comfort Inn when I found this motel with great reviews. It exceeded my expectations. Nice clean room. Clean fitness center. Tasty breakfast, especially the breakfast burrito bar. Great room rates.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. Unfortunately this will be our last stay. They obviously have a problem with homeless. We found a shopping cart right against the bottom of our stairs with a bunch of junk in it. We pushed it off the sidewalk so we could

libra10460Ca, thanks for your comments. I know about the specific incidents you are talking about. We now have someone working the 3pm - 10pm shift walking the property and keeping an eye on things. This will considerably reduce the any problems with the homeless pushing their carts onto our property. Regarding the guest, if an unstable person tries to check into the hotel, we refuse the right to give them service and then we call the police to get them help. Sometimes the unstable part is not evident at check in or someone else checks in for that person. In all cases, as soon as we find out there is a problem we call the police. I apologize you had to witness this first hand, and I don't blame you for not wanting to stay with us again. We wish you safe travels for the future.

My best advice: read ALL reviews before booking. In my room, tonight: The internet doesn’t work. At all. The a/c thermostat has a warning message and isn’t functioning. The TP dispenser is hanging by a thread, the bathroom walls are made mostly of patch material. Paper thin

Thanks for your comments. Yes, the Internet was down but we did call out Provider and they got it up and running within an hour. And we will pass along your the maintenance issues. As for the PTAC unit, for energy conservation the thermostat is set for 72 degrees. When the room temp gets below 72, is when the PTAC kicks on. The warning you saw "low battery" would not affect the function of the PTAC. Most times, the guest doesn't know that the PTAC kicks on by itself and tries to press buttons to make it work.

Good location for home base to tour Russian River, wine country and Bodega Bay areas. Quiet area but close to shopping and freeway. Nice, clean room. Good morning breakfast, but small eating area gets very crowded.
