WE were a bit worried about the noise that we read about. All the staff, especially, Audry, assured me of a great nights sleep. WE had room 404 and loved it. The heat blew cold air at first , but the really nice front dest woman , ran a portable heater up to the room. I loved

Hotel Petaluma is an old 1923 hotel that has been restored. It was charming and a nice change from newer hotels. Had a warm feeling starting with the front desk, and old fashioned elevator, to the pedestal sink and marble tile bathroom floor. Hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Petaluma. Easy walking to dogs and restaurants. This place is surrounded by beautiful Victorian homes, a gorgeous park to walk your pup. It's clean, beautiful and dog friendly.

As always, the hotel staff was great and attentive during my stay. The addition of a free continental breakfast was also a nice addition. The location of being in the heart of Petaluma close to restaurants and shopping is a big plus.

Is the construction done?
I'm sorry - I don't know but we were there in late October and it seemed as if it had a ways to go. I would just call them and ask.

Do all rooms have a bathroom?
Hi 796bobo, No, about 30% of the rooms do not have an en suite bathroom at this time. Those rooms have a sink and vanity in the room in a small alcove. There are shared bathrooms on each floor for those room occupants. The other 70% of our rooms have private bathrooms. We are currently doing a renovation project which will include creating a bathroom for every room. The advantage of the rooms without a bathroom is the price, which is significantly less. So if you don't mind a European-style hotel stay (think hostel, college dorm or campground) you can save a lot of money while these rooms are still available. Thanks for asking!
