The hotel lost our reservations and we were forced to look for a new hotel for 1 of the 3 nights. They made arrangements for us to stay at the Motel 6, which was a completely unacceptable accomodation. Worse..we were expected to pay for their mistake and cover the rate at the Motel 6. In order to find similar accomodations...

I selected this hotel because of its location and colorful and fun decor. It also is an independently owned hotel, which is important to me. The Metro Hotel is located close to many things: Point Reyes National Seashore, Sonoma, and the Russian River Valley. All are a short drive away, so if you're planning on seeing any of these places,...

Awesome little hotel! Saw it on TripAdvisor and read reviews ... all accurate. Cute and funky. Perfect for our weekend at the Cotati Accordion Festival. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

Metro is the place to stay in Petaluma. Downtown is a short 10- 15 minute walk and the room was great. We stayed in a room across the garden area and not in the main house. The room (more like a private cottage) was fantastic. Bathroom was a bit narrow but I can't say enough good things about this place....

We found this offbeat hotel charming. It is not the place if you're looking for the 5-star luxury experience, but if you enjoy a quiet, relaxing B&B style inn near downtown, this should do fine.

Cute room (with French themed items). I would compare the room to that of a bed and breakfast. Currently breakfast, however, is minimal (but that may be changing). It's a few blocks from the downtown area but very walkable. I would definitely recommend staying here to visit Sonoma and Napa counties. Also it's close to the coast and old growth...

We were in Petaluma through the weekend for a friend's wedding. We chose the Metro for the location, the relative value and the availability of an Airstream trailer "room". Overall, the stay was pleasant with no surprises or bad experiences. There was a minor glitch during check-in: we arrived rather late, and though I had indicated a late check-in time...

Stayed here a couple of years ago. We had a camera stolen out of the room - right off the bed, while my husband was in the bathroom. The door to the hallway was unlocked and I was out of the hotel at the time. The owners tried to blame it on the maid, who had willingly come to talk...

My husband and I decided to do something new a different for our anniversary this year. We wanted to stay some place in the Sonoma County area to have access to the coastal weather, wine country, art and relaxation. Our decision to stay at the Metro Hotel and Cafe was a good one. The location is in Petaluma walking distance...

We stayed here as part of a large group attending a family wedding. The staff and management seemed not to want anyone to stay at the hotel, creating difficulties from the start for those making the plans. Once we were all arriving, the man in charge refused to give my sister in law the code for the front door...she was...
