Very clean and New.... Nicely remodeled from Silk Factory. Easy to get to and from. Went from Sonoma to Petaluma by car, about 20 min. No freeway so no traffic. Breakfast was a nice mix. I enjoyed the waffles and sausages and Coffee.

Hotel's Favorite
My partner and I stayed here for four nights. It was central to all we wanted to do which was to explore Sonoma (15 min drive ), Napa (30 min drive), Korbel Winery and Armstrong Redwoods (30 min drive) and Bodega Bay (30 min drive). We couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is new and very hip with contemporary furnishings and exposed brick, walk in showers, and very clean. The fitness room is well equipped and the breakfast buffet is generous with plenty of healthy choices along with waffles, french toast and eggs. They even have pre-prepared grab and go breakfast bags for those on the run. The hotel also has a bar with delicious beer and wines, and an outside fire pit which they will gladly light for anyone wanting to enjoy it. The town itself is small with lots of dinner choices and close enough to walk, but it is about a mile. The first night we walked and the second night we drove because it was cool and windy. All in all the hotel and location was exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have been happier.

Review collected in partnership with Hampton
My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night before attending an event at Sonoma State University. We often stay at Hampton Inns and this one is definitely not the cookie cutter Hampton, being the site of an old Silk Mill. We stayed in a king room at one end of the second floor, and found it to be very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was good. Service was very friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult to find, but we eventually figured that out.

Let me start by saying that the staff, service and cleanliness at this facility are top notch. Now for the negatives. This may be a great place to stay if it's just a one nighter and you don't have to unpack and live put of the space for any period of time. When you enter the room, you have a very short narrow hallway the length of the bathroom door which is on you right. As you come into the room, you see a nice sized king bed that fills 95% of the room. You have less than 3 feet on each side and about 3-4 foot from the foot of the bed to the built in combo desk, counter, vanity. There are no drawers on either side of the bed, the only storage space on the built in is two small wire racks that pull out from a cabinet drawer. The vanity is small and with the ironing board hanging in the back, your clothes will not hang right. I would like to challenge the designer of this space to live in room 103 for one week with his/her spouse !! I'd post pics, but I don't see that option..

Dear David, Thank you for you comments about your recent stay. I am glad that you found the hotel staff, service and cleanliness to your liking. We have a great staff who are very proud to work in such a unique hotel. I apologize that you found the size of the rooms to be small for your needs. As you noted, we are in an historic building so each room is laid out differently due to the structure and the need to work around the existing windows. If you plan to return to the area, please reach out to me directly so I can find a more suitable room. Warm regards, Gary Sterman
