My wife and I spent a weekend in the lodge. I was surprised at the lack of generally expected amenities considering the price ($250/night). No air conditioning, no TV, and WIFI that didn't work for 90% of our stay (when we asked for help, we were told the problem was with our iPhones and Macbooks ...). Additionally, the food at... More

I joined friends for tent camping here over the fourth of July weekend. It was delightful! A beautiful setting, nice and low-key and quiet. All the staff were kind and helpful. We had kids in our party and they enjoyed the playground and lawn games and immediately found friends to play with.

We've been going to Costanoa for the last 4 years with a group of friends and have always loved it, but this year they have added a lot of new rules that really put a damper on things. For example, they no longer allow tents in the RV area that don't fit on the 8x8 platforms. Ours doesn't, but they... More

This is one of the coolest campgrounds we have ever been to. We had 2 tent sites for a 2 night stay, but this HUGE campground has RV camping, group camping, cabins, yurts, condo's, and even smaller houses to stay in. You can camp on one end of the property roasting marshmallows over an open fire, or walk to the... More

Because it was fathers day weekend...this was the only place available near where we were driving. Costanoa used to be an upscale glamping spot 15 years ago. Still expensive...but really nice. Now, the RV park , which has been added since then, has really made this place tacky and so common. No thought as to layout or privacy. This is... More

We stayed one night in a tent cabin (?) and one night in the lodge. Both are overpriced. $150 and $340 respectively. The tent cabin was actually a better experience than the room in the lodge. Our room faced the parking lot and it's priced the same as the other rooms in the lodge. The interior of the lodge room... More

Spent my one and only vacation of the year here from May14-20th Place is overpriced Yuppieville. Place was empty. Very nice first 3 days then a tractor, roto tiller and cement stamper arrived to do construction right next door. The dust and dirt filled my RV. The noise was unbelievable. As I complained to the camp host she said oh sorry... More

Costanoa is partway between a campsite, a spa, and a nice hotel. We really like it and generally stay in the main hotel part versus the cabins, tents, or camping. Be advised certain amenities are lacking (like a TV or air conditioning). However, the property is beautiful, and it's a great launching point for going to Santa Cruz, etc.

Love love love this place. A friend and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Lodge. The Eggs Benedict and mimosa's were so great, we went back the next day for another great meal. We also visited the general store which was quite charming. We were staying at a home along the coast, but I would definitely give their lodging... More

It's "Glamping"! De-emphasizing the "glamour" part. Second time our group (7 mature women) has stayed in the tent cabins. Love the outdoor-ish experience with the tents, fire ring and lots of wonderful fresh sea air. Did the 3 mile Ohlone Ridge trail with lovely views and just enough exercise for us that day. Had to watch out for poison oak.... More
