This KOA is about $80 / night basic. You need one of those special sewer attachments and we had to search out someone to get access to the laundry. The staff here are super nice, but the $80 a night doesn't warrant the stay. You have to walk over a highway to get to the beach. Also in the area... More

So this place is more "glamping" then camping for sure. Which is good, since I hate to be cold, wet, hungry, sleeping on a hill (you know, all the things actual camping involve). One of my favorite things about this place is the bathroom -yes I am serious. They have radiant floor heat like a spa! I would tell my... More

The RV site is spacious with good standard bathrooms/shower blocks. There were fire places with fuel available for communal use which was a nice touch. However we were invited to join a group of six friends around their campfire for an interesting conversation. This was our last campsite on our 10 day tour and it was a completely different calibre... More

We went to Mendocino KOA last time and my view here for Costanoa KOA is a refecltion of this facility's comparison. Surprise 1 - on the site it was mentioned that every campsite has personal firepit but in actual when we checkecd in it was conveyed that since your site is near eucalyptus trees we do not allow campfire. Surprise... More

We stayed here over Valentines Day weekend in our 23 ft. travel trailer. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The views are nice. Check-in was hassle-free and the employees were pleasant. Friends told us to watch for skunks, but we didn't see any. It was close to Ano Nuevo State Park.

A group of us stay there every year for a reunion. While we enjoy the location, the park itself is an above average KOA (and you pay for it too!). Fantastic sites that are mostly back end sites with good room between you and your neighbor. I think Seascape loop is probably the nicest with grass and trees that separate... More

We had to try out our new tent so we decided to camp at this place in early Dec cold. The place is very well maintained, off of CA1, and has nice views of the ocean. There is Lodge, RV park, cabins and tent bungalows with Bar & grill and a store. Campsites have neat and clean flush toilets and... More

The pull thru sites were very narrow and tight with very little outdoor living space. Our awning was almost hitting our neighbors slide out. Because of a previous unruly camper they enacted a rule of "no outdoor tvs". We were not told this when we made our reservation nor when we checked in. After getting all settled neighbors started telling... More
