We picked HammerSky for our wedding venue and loved it! We knew it was perfect for us when we toured one stormy weekend in January. The staff is warm & welcoming, and the farmhouse is a gem. Then there is Detained, the sparkling wine. Communication with the venue became a challenge as there were 2 main points of contact, but they were not always on the same page as the owner. It also took a few months to get our security deposit back. Everything was resolved in the end. Overall a great experience and I would book again.
We are members of Brecon Estate which is right across the street form HammerSky. We decided to check them out and are we glad we did. Their tasting room is small but very inviting and the view is beautiful. Carol was our server and she was excellent. The price point is nice and their Merlot is magic. This is a must stop when on Vineyard Drive
This spot was recommended to us by a friend so we had no idea what to expect. We drove down a long winding road, seemingly away from most of the bigger name wineries with large estates. The drive was amazing with green hills and large oak trees all around. We arrived at HammeSky and found it to be in a great location. The vines were almost right up to the tasting room and outdoor seating area. The tasting room itself looked to be a fairly new building. I tasted the wines and really liked a few of them. We ended up buying 6 bottles and sat outside and drank a glass of wine. The scenery and setting of this place is just awesome. It was so quiet and peaceful we could have stayed for hours. I would highly recommend a stop at this spot if you are looking for a relaxing and serene setting with good wine!…
This winery is a gem. We sat on the lovely outdoor patio furniture enjoying a wonderful vineyard view while trying wine samples. How bad can that be? HammerSky is a special place, so please stop by and stay for a bit of time. The property has a lovely 1904 Inn, plus a darling barn. You must book it to see inside, but just taking some photos of the exterior provides some great pictures to take away from this amazing winery - plus the wines are darn good too! Can't get any better than this :-)
Recommendation: Do a tasting and then just sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Very personal, welcoming and fun staff. Wine is outstanding. Tasting room is small but they have a nice size outdoors space with tables and games. Dog friendly. Picnic friendly. Great Views.
