As others have said, this is a beautiful new park with lots to do. It'll be even more lovely once those trees mature. Here are the two things that have kept this from being a 5-star review: 1. We found ourselves in Paso Robles ahead of schedule so we called the park (2 hours before check-in time) to inquire about coming in a little early. After checking to see if our site was available, the gal stated we could come early for an additional charge of $20. Really? We opted instead to hang out in a shopping center parking lot until check-in time. When we did check-in we found the park barely 1/4 occupied. Clearly there was no issue about whether spaces were occupied or not; that's just their standard line. I would think that the good will of welcoming a guest early (especially during such an obviously slow time for them) would pay off much better than a $20 charge! 2. There are precious few trash bins located around the park. Unlike most parks, it was not a simple stroll a few spaces away to dump our trash. They have dumpsters in about four places throughout the park; this in a park with about a couple hundred RV sites plus cabins too. I don't know the reason for this? We've stayed in a few parks where they pick up the trash from each site in the morning. If Cava Robles prefers not to add any receptacles then I suggest they adopt the site pick-up practice.

Let’s do the easy part first-this is a beautiful RV Park, set in gently rolling hills in the heart of the Central Coast wine country. Sites are large and level, everything is shiny and new, and the facilities are lovely. Though you are just a few blocks off of a busy highway and right on the edge of town, from inside the park you have no idea of any of that. They have many activities available and there is plenty so do nearby. We have visited four times now, but I can’t imagine coming back, at least not on a weekend. Here is the problem-though the park has a standard set of rules, there is NO effort on the part of any park employee to enforce any of them. Apparently, many non-guests come ‘illegally’ to use the facilities (pool, etc. ) there is music blaring from many sites, and people flying around in golf carts, many of them with loud stereos, too. Now, I know that people are here to have fun. But when we literally have to shut ourselves in our RV and still can’t hear each other or our TV over the competing music surrounding us, then how are we having any fun? I also understand that this bad behavior is from other guests, but as I said, nobody who works here seems to care. This place is expensive, and when I spend this much money and can’t relax because the place is bedlam, I don’t feel as if I am getting a good value for my money. I don’t expect everyone here to be a hermit, but I do hope they follow the rules. And if they don’t want to, I expect the park to enforce them.

Beautiful new RV resort with outstanding facilities in a lovely setting. But a couple of shortfalls keep us from giving it 5 stars. The individual restroom/shower rooms are not very welcoming—more campground grade than resort; how about some mats? The WiFi has great coverage but poor speed; guess you have to purchase the service upgrade to make it workable. For the price, we think the showers and Wifi should be on par with the rest of the facility.

Spectacular views and beautiful campsites. Most surprisingly, the WiFi works! Lots to do and the bar has a great selection. Wonderful spot. We’ll be back! The laundry facilities, lap pool, and workout room are awesome.

Sometimes you just want to glamp and this is a great place to do it. We checked into this brand resort for a night with our travel trailer and ended up staying for three days. Beautiful large level sites with 20/30/50 amp service and a fire pit. Beautiful pools and spas. Customer service was top notch and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our dogs had lots of fun in the three large dog parks. We camped in December when there were a lot of vacancies, so it would be interesting to go back when this place is packed with RVs to see if their service holds up. We will be back!
