Superb, particularly for 60 bucks. This is a 1950s (at a guess) motel that's been tastefully modernised to keep plenty of character. Of note, go easy on the room thermostats - 65F is ample for gas heaters. Highly recommended!

This place is not fancy, and it's not fully modern. It's an old motor court motel, and that shows. However, it was charming, clean, good staff and service, nice room, good wifi and TV/cable, great bed, good shower, fridge/microwave, and very reasonably priced for Paso Robles. It's all one floor, so there is no one on top of you. The... More

I think it's important to remember that you get what you pay for & expectations must be reasonable. This isn't a fancy place with expensive mattresses and spa tubs. This is a comfortable guest room in your friends house. Everything is intended for functional comfort. I really like the layout of this property and our room was perfect. Dog friendly,... More

Clean, cozy room with old-fashioned decor in central Paso robles, 1 block from very good breakfast place, 11 blocks from town square. Prices on par with Motel 6 for the basic Queen room but much more charm. Room smallish as shown. Mid century bathroom clean and in good working order. They apparently have some kitchenette rooms somewhere, too. The guy... More

My husband & I stayed there Sept 10& 11 for weekend of wine tasting with friends. The room was spacious and BR was small and shower even smaller. But who needs a big shower? The bath towels were long & fluffy & there were plenty of hand towels& wash cloths. There were few hangers and I didn't think of asking... More

Relic of the past! Comfy, cozy, quaint...Half the price of the slightly less older hotels in area. Walking distance to town. Only used facilities to sleep and shower. Otherwise stayed out all day and evening. Appreciated the small frig, microwave, and coffee machine. Small but fantastic shower.

This place is wonderful if you're looking for something non-traditional. Or maybe too traditional. It's old school cool. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place, but if you want a nice, clean, comfortable place, I recommend this place.

We stayed here for the 2nd time last week. We had a room with 1 queen bed and 2 night tables. There is a fridge, sink, coffee pot in the room. There is a small desk and chair. Each room had some outdoor seating. The room and bathroom are clean. Towels fine. Amenities (soap, shampoo, etc) fine. For the price... More

Our room was quite comfortable. Good value for money. Staff was helpful. Provided very detailed instructions for a very late check-in (midnight), when office would be closed. Bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast was not included. We were only driving through, so was not there long enough for a full evaluation. But we were very satisfied with the short time... More

From1950's style motor-hotel type motel. Kept up real nice. Love the old style décor. Very clean overall. Real comfortable beds!!!, beats any other hotel beds anytime!! The shower is a little too small and needs to be upgraded. But for the price (excellent), it is well worth the stay for a few little drawbacks. Will definitely stay there again. It... More
