Great location and a value to anyone that is looking to escape. The location and the view was great. My girlfriend loved every moment. Phillip was a great host and very humble. When we first arrived with our picnic lunch my girlfriend and I sat and looked at Morro Rock for about 3 hours in complete silence. The view was... More

Stayed at this lovely inn for 2 nights in the gorgeous Pinot Noir suite. Nothing has been overlooked in this tastefully decorated home. Philip provided great breakfasts, conversation and wine and snacks upon arrival. He's very knowledgable about the area and gave great recommendations for dining and fun. As other's have said it is off the beaten path which I... More

Wow, we loved it! Finding the place was a bit tricky. It's basically off the grid and that suits us just fine. Address not on Google. Don't let this intimidate you. We just followed the mailed instructions, widening the Google map through each twist and turn. Just keep going and you WILL arrive! Once entering the Ranch property we were... More

Asuncion Ridge is worth the drive! It has breathtaking views and the rooms and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and snacks, including chocolate chip cookies, in the dining area. Philip is a wonderful host and the breakfasts are delicious. It was just the getaway we needed and we plan to come... More

We felt immediately at home and it felt like we had rented the whole villa! The setting is beautiful with great views and lovely well maintained gardens. There are so many different terraces with comfy chairs to enjoy the outdoors. In the evenings we enjoyed the indoor fireplace with a very good complimentary bottle of Philip's wine. He also makes... This B&B is in Atascadero! The property is very nicely appointed and located if you want to get away from it all. But that is not why we visit the Paso wine country. We want to be IN it all! It takes a good 20 minutes from 101 to get up to the mountaintop where it is located. After a... More

We recently spent two unforgettable nights at this magnificent hilltop escape in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. Our cheerful host, Innkeeper, Chef, and Winemaker Philip Krumal, made us feel at home immediately. The Inn's focal point is the magnificent gourmet kitchen, where Philip prepared omelettes and quiche for breakfast, as we sat at the tiled counter and watched.... More

My husband carefully researched our trip and thought he had found a "little gem" when he booked us for 5 nights at Asuncion Ridge. After a long drive from Palm Springs and a long drive finding this place, we arrived at Asuncion Ridge at 2:45PM to be greeted by Philip Krumal: "You're early, your room is not ready". What a... My husband and I spent a weekend there in September. The property is quite secluded at up the end of a hilly, winding road. It reminded me of Tuscany. Very beautiful! I booked it at the last minute and found Phillip extremely accommodating. We booked the Pinot Noir suite and it was just gorgeous. The room was spacious, elegant and... More
