Okay, to be honest, I am a Marriott guy. When you travel a lot (and I do), you stay with a chain for the rewards. Marriott has done well for me there.
Now, on to the Courtyard in Pasadena...
The staff are very welcoming and...More

Thank you so much for staying with us. Most of all for being a loyal Marriott Rewards guest all of these years. Sounds like we have some work to do on the Chicken Pot Pie experience. I am sorry that it was anything less than...More
We liked our stay. The staff is excellent and our room very good. But they fall behind on the little things that would give them 5 stars.
All the drinking fountains have been removed...no water in this heat. The Bistro was closed in the afternoon....More

Thank you very much for staying and for letting us know your challenges. There is no excuse for the pool area not being in top form and monitored on a regular basis. Somewhere in our line of responsibility we dropped the ball and for that...More

Thank you for sharing your experience and you are very correct in stating that Pasadena has that small town feeling to it. It is clearly part of it’s charm and a very different vibe from the big sprawling City of Los Angeles. As it relates...More

Thank you so much for staying with us and for your feedback. We truly appreciate it.
The hotel was quit, clean and the beds were comfortable. We ate at the bistro for breakfast. Very nice area to eat inside and outside. Very polite staff. The pool and hot tub looked clean, nice work out area too. Valet and self parking.

We are glad to hear that your time in Pasadena and our hotel was enjoyable. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again the next time travels bring you in this direction.
It is walkable, after events there are generally crowds walking back that make the walk feel safer. In the absence of crowds some of the areas, especially the highway overpasses could feel pretty dicey.
