This classic 'motor inn' on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena is right along the Rose Parade route -- and I wouldn't dream of going near it that weekend. But most of the year, it's a quiet, nicely appointed hideaway that's perfectly located if you're doing things on the eastern side of L.A. For me, a horseplayer, that means a hop and...

This is a basic motel. You get just what you expect — a comfortable place to rest your bones. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. If you want fancy, don't come here...but don't blame them for your mistake. This is a classic motel on Route 66. The location could not be better. Good places to eat all around....

This is our hotel of choice when staying in the greater Los Angeles area. The location is easily accessible, the light rail system that eliminates issues associated with traffic is a mere four four blocks away, the rooms are comfortable and clean if a bit dated, and the prices are most reasonable. The bonus is an array of unique, fascinating...

Loved this spot! We were traveling from Seattle to Phoenix via I-5 and then 210 and wanted a safe and perhaps unique spot to stay around the LA area. Pasadena fit the bill and the Saga won us over with the "historic Route 66 motel" description and great reviews. It didn't disappoint, the staff was very friendly, rooms are cute...

A 50s motor court; complete with old sign, a pool, and palm trees. Clean, comfortable rooms. I am very sensitive to odors and mold and did not detect anything amiss, as one reviewer mentioned. I chose a second floor room - since the elevator is out they go for a discount. Too far from Old Town to walk there, but...

The room we had was one of their 'suites'. It was one large room with 2 queen sized beds and 1 king bed. It had a balcony overlooking the parking lot. The hotel was built in the 1950's. There is a pool and free continental breakfast it included in the rate. We had a microwave and refrigerator. I am not...

You pay for what you get, not my favorite but it had a special going on. The room is not up to date and it had a cheap hotel smell, awesome places to visit in Pasadena but wouldn't recommend that hotel.

This motel offers good value for night's stay. The motel is right across the street from Pasadena City College, so there are lots of places to eat lots of different kinds of food, all reasonably priced. It is a ten minute stroll from Allen Station on the Metro Golf Line. For nostalgia buffs there is a plus: Colorado Boulevard was...

Spent 4 nights here and can recommend it considering that its reasonably priced. The room was clean and fairly large. The water pressure was good. The breakfast is stereotypical buffet. juice coffee crummy pastries. There is a pool which I found to be too cold for prolonged swimming. (there is a Y 10 minutes away). It is located across from...

I booked this motel because of the great reviews on Tripadvisor and we are so glad we did. This place is wonderful. It has that 50s/60s motel look but is clean and fresh. We love the way that has been preserved while keeping the motel modern and up to date. The staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast...
