We stayed here for 4 nights, right on the water. There were a number of negative reviews so we were hesitant to try the place out but I'm glad we did. View was spectacular. Management was very friendly, as were campers who were mostly long-term winter visitors. The spaces were very tight, but typical for the region. Nice diner on...

It's a BEAUTIFUL drive to get here, but that's the only thing positive that I can say. You start out being "greeted" by an employee who says repeatedly that you can only stay 30 minutes with the pass, stop and return the pass, watch your time - they were very hard core about this so the experience started out feeling...

We drove the dirt road out to Black Meadow Landing. Its dirt desert road for the most part and we drove it early November. There are many nice views of the desert on the drive out. We also saw some wild donkeys on the drive out as well as the Parker Dam Generating Station. This is Bureau of Land area...

Warning!! The road in to black meadows is a very poorly maintained if maintained at all. The road being full of pot holes caused a gas leak in the area were the fuel goes from the motor to the generator. So we were dying in the heat with no air conditioning for our 6 hour ride home. We like trying...

This sums it up. Great location. 1 rating in accommodations. This place needs serious updating. Picture popcorn ceilings, peeling flower wall paper, wood paneling, full size bed instead of King, sewer smell and cassette tape. You get the picture. However, they get a 1 for ok service and blowing cold air conditioning.

I love this place, RV spaces on the water, huge ramp with never a wait, park your boat in the water in front of your space, store, restaurant, fuel on site. Compare with spending hours loading unloading your boat in town then drive to try to find a place to park. I have stayed in the motel as well, yes...

My family and stayed here last year and it was horrible. We stayed in what they call a "kitchen cabin". More like bates motel. Bugs everywhere and dirty. So this year when our friends wanted to go back I wasn't so sure. We did go last week but this time we took our toy hauler. We should have did that...

This property was not worth the money at all, when you consider we spent aprox$100 a night to ensure our dog could stay with us and that we would have a kitchenette. First, let me say, I have never stayed in a kitchenette unit that had no microwave and no coffee maker, no sponge and no paper towels. The unit...

Rules on top of rules, you are in trouble as soon as the gate closes behind you. Great location but needs serious new management and a complete shift in consumer focused mindset. You will park in the wrong spot and get a tough note to go to the office like you are a 12 year old kid. You have to...

“Get the hotel rms for cheapr, the RV park models ($120 a nite) PLUS they charge you $10 per kid you bring! $140 total for a dive 1970s park model manufactured hm approx 325 sq ft one bedrm, one bath, tight galley kitchen... (kids sleep on uncomfortable lumpy FUTON) Why are we being charged extra for the kids? we didn stay at the motel/hotel but did look into the windows of vacant rooms they looked decent enough...if not better than park model so save a few $$ and stay at motel that is one story (there's a 2 story older looking motel as well looked REALLY old and crappy)”
