Whomever thought it a good idea to use tile in big open hallways should be fired, or made to stay in a room off such a hallway. It is INCREDIBLY loud in the Palo Alto building, especially when the drunken hoards return from their misadventures. If they give you a room in the "other building" when you check-in, politely decline.... More

I stayed there during Super Bowl L weekend. So I won't take into account for this review the outrageous price I paid. The hotel feels very old and not well maintained. You can see clear it has seen it past glories. This is very unfortunate because otherwise the Japanese/zen design would be very nice if well kept. Carpet was dirty... More

Very nice staff, and I am sure the location keeps this property very busy. Front desk is their issue, and throughout the day, they have lines and you can tell they are short staffed. Again, very accommodating, well trained staff, but the ownership should study business patterns and staff accordingly. For the destination and very good location, I would recommend... More

This may be one of the most conflicted reviews I have ever written. There are some things about this hotel which are amazing. The grounds are truly beautiful, like being in a tropical resort, with lovely outdoor pool. The club level, if you want to pay for it, had great modern rooms (more on that in a second), and the... Very very Impressed by this hotel! Staff, grounds, food and amazing club level. 5 minutes from Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. Checkin with Angela was very welcoming and professional. Pool bar staff and food were excellent. Upgraded to junior suite which was perfectly appointed. Club Level was as good as I have seen, surprisingly impressed. Thanks to everyone at the... More

I have been at Sheraton for our yearly company reunion. The staff is incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. The location is incredible and the rooms are nice. I'd definitely book in this hotel again.

Beds were very comfortable, fluffy pillows, and a very nice big shower with a great shower head. A little noisy from other loud guests, train, and very loud flushing toilets. WiFi is only free in the lobby. Good complimentary tea & coffee in the room. We got a good rate for a one night stay, which made it a good... More

The hotel is near Stanford and University Avenue AND on an expressway! I booked an upscale room (for a price !) and asked for a quiet room - I was offered a "prime" room facing the garden (and the balconies of other rooms). The room was at the end of the row of prime rooms next to an AC exhaust... More

I stayed here for a week and enjoyed the hotel immensely. The facilities are very good, not exceptional and all aspects of the hotel seem clean, functional and fit with the style of the local area. The bar was interesting and the pool was also very inviting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone stating in the area for a... More
