Hotel get's booked up, so if you plan to stay at it, book in advance! Since it get's easy booked up, the rates are usually higher than other hotels in nearby communities. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance to the hotel. The Club lounge is limited in the choices.

Reasonably price hotel with spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Good customer service. Close to Stanford campus. Nice pool area. Not a luxurious resort but certainly very nice. No complaint at all and would certainly use again if in the area.

The hotel is close to Stanford and a shopping/restaurant area. Nice size rooms. All updated. Nice pool area. Great staff. Don't valet park. It makes more sense to self park near your room. Bathroom has a sliding door that does not allow for a lot of privacy. You have to pay for internet unless you are an SPG member.

Hotel is convenient to public transit and Stanford, with nicely updated rooms. Their website advertises free internet- I was irritated on arrival to be advised that free internet applied only to certain rate categories and to those who booked directly with the hotel. At $339 per night I found it outrageous to have pay $10 extra per night to have... More

The Sheraton and the Westin (next door) are literally across the street from Stanford University. Easy walk to the football stadium. So honestly, these places would be full even if they were a motel 6. Fortunately, the Sheraton is clean and fresh and provides all the essentials for a comfortable trip. The Westin is newer, a little more hip, but... More

Meets expectations for its tier, not special, not impressive, but clean and pleasant staff and decent rooms...terrible food from poolside lunch to breakfast, really sub-standard...good location...a bit of a factory, an odd style in terms of rooms and pool and space, but functional...it's convenient, it works, but nothing exceptional here.

Went for a conference being held here. I was a little annoyed that I was not offered an SPG preferred room as a member. Maybe they were all booked but they usually offer. Otherwise the staff was friendly enough and check in and it was not hard. I hated that the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. Yuck. Not what I... More

I stayed here as mandated by company guidelines. This was outside my normal personal lodging choice. The rooms were not clean and the hallways had a smell. The cleaning staff had a lot of junk in the hallways that gave an untidy look. Also I could not get my clothes steamed and prepared for my meeting because the facility was... More

sometimes it's the little things that count - long check in line and no starwood check in option on your phone like many of their other properties offer - renovated room but the door to the bathroom is an awkward sliding thing that is difficult to open and close - no tub and a very confusing shower - it almost... Staff was mostly great, accommodating and friendly. I had a fridge that didn't work but it was quickly swapped out by a very proficient electrician named Melville. Everyone during the day was very nice but it was at night that I had a small nightmare. I was in town for an exhibition and had to leave around 4 a.m. The... More
