Kinda weird to stay in a hotel in the very town where you grew up . . . It's on a stretch of El Camino Real that has many hotels/motels, most of them in the standard motel design. Creekside is set back from the street (with a restaurant and deli/market) in the non-standard mix of buildings; I liked that a...

Lovely grounds with creek running through it. The staff was very friendly at check in - not only introducing self, but availing themselves to any needs. While I chose this hotel for the proximity to surgery center, I was impressed with amenities in the room; it had a cook top in addition to a refrigerator and microwave; also it could...

It was a clean lovely room and the grounds are very green and serene. You do not feel like your on El Camino Real. Very close to all important locations. Rooms above the underground parking as really quite.

Pros: Proximity to Stanford campus plus beds were comfortable. Cons: Zero water pressure in bathroom, Water would not get hot - barely warm enough to shower and when water was turned on, a blob of old hair popped up from the drain. Towels seemed nice but smelled like a musty basement.

We had a brief but very pleasant stay at the Creekside Inn during Christmas week. The rooms were well appointed, the grounds were lovely, the rates were reasonable, and there was a nice coffee and pastry breakfast served in the lobby. We met people from all over. Grant, at the front desk, had a wonderful smile and a good sense...

Nice, clean rooms in a hotel compound with beautiful surroundings. Ample parking; easy to get in and out of. Large-hotel amenities for a small-type hotel. Booked here for a weekend course at Stanford. Less than a 10-minute drive to the campus. Warning for Stanford travelers going back to the hotel: The underpass at the El Camino Real/Palm Avenue intersection will...

Every time I stay in Palo Alto (I have family in the area), I stay at the Creekside. Definitely the best value for the money. I first discovered this hotel after having a bad experience nearby. They took me in and I've stayed here ever since. Always CLEAN!!!

I have been trying different hotels when I go to Palo Alto, and this was the most recent visit. I chose it because it was much cheaper than the other two hotels I have tried and it was well reviewed. The Creekside Inn takes up a large section of town. The grounds are pretty with lots of areas to sit...

Quiet, clean, modern, comfortable and affordable - this is a great place to stay when visiting Palo Alto. The name (creekside) comes from the creek that runs through the center of the relatively large property and rooms that face it and the courtyard are peaceful, scenic, and feel remote from the main street the hotel is located on. Service was...

Found this hotel through the Stash Rewards program. Stayed here on an overnight trip to bay area. Hotel is conveniently located, quiet and peaceful. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Room was HUGE - we had a suite which had a nice kitchen and big living room. The rooms have a small tablet which has everything you might need on hand. Room...
