The check-in experience was unbelievable- the NICEST people were working the front desk when I arrived. This is a redecorated and updated Travelodge type motel, with modern furnishings and contemporary bedside iPads. Free wifi, microwave, coffee maker, iron, slippers and robe. Fluffy towels, TONS of complimentary bath products (including lip balm!) and very clean. Free breakfast in the morning consists...

I come up regularly for Stanford football games and have stayed at a number of hotels in the Peninsula area. The Creekside Inn is my favorite. The location is great, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and quiet.

Grounds are beautiful and room was comfortable, but the hotel charged my card for one night despite this being a pre-paid reservation (in addition to standard $75 refundable for incidentals), and instead of apologizing, they continued to insist both that it "wasn't a charge, it was a hold" (tell that to my bank account that had the money removed from...

Dear Dr. Grantz: Thank you for speaking with me today. I very much hope that I was able to address any concerns you may have had about returning to our hotel, as this additional authorization is clearly a systematic error that we have corrected immediately. We thank you for your feedback, and sincerely look forward to seeing you again. Katie...

Our regular hotel in Palo Alto was unable to accommodate us so they recommended the Creekside to us. I was a bit skeptical when we drove up - it really does look like a motel, because all the doors open to the outside - but I quickly realized that it wasn't. My room was basic, comfortable and functional, but it...

I spent 5 days at the Creekside Inn during a business trip. This was my second stay here and the hotel definitely lived up to my expectations. As with my previous visit, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower this time. The view was not the best, but I was not staying here for...

Spent three nights at the Creekside Inn which is very close to Stanford campus. Room was in the "tower" which was more hotel like than other buildings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a balcony which overlooked the pool. Excellent value for Palo Alto. Coffee, tea, and muffins in the lobby each morning.

I stayed here for a recent work trip. The location, right on El Camino Real, is convenient to pretty much anywhere in the Palo Alto area. It is made up of a number of low-rise buildings nestled around a creek, with one "tower" building. When I arrived, the two gentlemen on duty couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. They provided...

We chose Creekside Inn due to its location and the reviews which convinced us it was quiet. What an excellent decision! The enchanting grounds are lovingly maintained. Many of the trees are very old. The scent of verbena and other flowering plants and shrubs filled the air. The staff is cordial, professional, pleasant and caring. Their smiles are genuine. Our...

We would stay here again. Nothing too fancy. But the staff was very friendly. The beds and pillows SO were comfy. And it was within walking distance of places to eat. What more could you ask for, right?:) (Just an FYI it is about a 35 minute walk to Stanford University.)

I have been coming here for a year during my visits to Stanford Medical Center. The setting is very peaceful and the rooms are nice. Bedding is soft and the rooms are updated and nice. The facility is large so they can accommodate many guests. We've never had issues trying to park and are generally near our room. The staff...
