What terrific people at the Stanford Motor Inn. All staff were very welcoming, gracious, and helpful. Ashley was our Saving Grace Angel during a most difficult time. My brother was at Stanford Hospital awaiting a liver transplant. Family was called in to be with him. My sister was the only one available to go immediately. She was not familiar with...

Classic motor lodge feel. It's clear the hotel is a bit older but it is very clean and very well maintained. I love the old school stove/sink combo in my room! Free continental breakfast, great coffee, and quiet location. The staff is excellent. Friendly and accommodating. Wifi is fast enough to stream videos without issue. My one and only complaint...

We needed a place close to Stanford that didn't require a second mortgage and could guarantee us a ground floor room. We called and Neal could not have been more helpful and accommodating unlike a couple of other places we called. Is it brand new? No. Is it clean and well-maintained? Most definitely! And given its right on El Camino...

My family and I stayed at the Stanford Motor Inn for 2 nights. The room was quite big, it has a small kitchen. The rooms have thin walls, you could hear your next door neighbor all the time. The bathroom was nice and clean. The WiFi has it's ups and downs, it may work really well or it will kick...

My wife and I stayed for one night. Very clean hotel. Very well located. Great Asian restaurant next door. Staff very helpful. good price in an expensive area. Refreshing pool in courtyard. Murals on the wall remind me of the Plainview Motel in Oregon but not as extensive. Breakfast just ok. We choose to down the street to Bakery cafe...

The staff I encountered were very nice. That said, this motel is desperately needing refurbishing. All of the linens were noticeably worn, some threadbare. The carpets were filthy. The decorations looked like leftover garage sale. The beds felt like wood boxes with a mattress pad. I could hear tenants in the rooms above and on each side of me. The...

I stayed at this hotel the week of Nov 16, 2015. I was staying at the Comfort Inn down the street but needed to stay in Palo Alto a couple of extra days because a family member was at the Stanford Medical Center longer than projected. The Stanford Inn is an older property for the budget minded person or family....
