I stayed at the Westin for a few days for work. The property is nice, but the rooms are getting a bit dated. The bathroom seemed newer than the rest of the room, which was nice - even had a rain shower. My room was quiet. The gym is small but well maintained. Walking distance to Stanford shopping mall.

Very clean and comfy room. It was nice to find a welcome treat, a Nonnis biscotti after late arrival. Conveniently close to a Starbucks and Trader Joes market. For the price, not quite the same as other Westin locations, certainly not much differentiation from other mid range chains to justify the added cost.

Dear MsSassy19, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience with the TripAdvisor community. I'm pleased you enjoyed your room, the Biscotti, and proximity to shops and cafes. I apologize if the elevated price was disheartening, many of our guests are surprised by this, which is in large part due to the high demand in the area.... More

The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 5 is because it is lacking a good lounge/ bar area, there is one there but it is very small. Also due to the lack of space at valet which I cover in detail later. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms are a good size. The hotel... More

Potentially a great hotel in a great location but when they charge for water and the pool is restricted to soft spoken people only, it's just irritating to me. Rooms and facilities are great and. Well worth it. Dining in not recommended and the place is a maze when it comes to finding your room. No free parking except for... More

We stayed just for one night, relax and close to lots of restaurants. Rooms are enough for a few nights and Bathrooms with separate shower and tub. Breakfast was great and the staff super nice . I will be back in 2 months :) Go Stanford!

We arrived on the night of the Stanford graduation and stayed through Memorial day weekend. The bed was so comfortable! We were visiting family and didn't get to use many amenities. I wish we had tried room service because the prices weren't much different from some of the restaurants in downtown Palo Alto. The hotel is a short walk away... More

Nice property located in San Jose. Walking distance to parks, food and downtown area. Rooms are well appointed but a bit smaller then most Westins. on property dining was very nice - many local options as well.

I'm local but stayed here for a friend's wedding for convenience. The front desk was great: loved the complimentary water and Internet. The room was awkwardly-shaped, dark, and really far from the elevator. The hotel is kind of sprawling, which is not fun when you're walking in heels. There was also an unfortunate bit of miscommunication with housekeeping: we wanted... More

Stayed at the Westin Palo Alto for 5 nights in January. Great location, walking distance to Palo Alto and to Stanford. Comfortable bed, with a Starbucks coffee machine. Other than that there wasn't anything super special about the facilities and its service. For the price, it's just alright.

Checked in here to be close to the Stanford University Graduation. The Westin was virtually sold out but we were able to get a room to accommodate 2 adults and 4 kids. The room has 2 separate sections with 2 beds in one and a sofa bed and work area and table in the other section. There was also a... More
