The hotel is in a great location, clean, but a bit worn down. Happily, I saw large rolls of carpet in the basement parking lot so there is a bit of updating happening soon. The front desk service is friendly and helpful, the waiters at breakfast are welcoming and attentive, my breakfast omelets were hot and tasty, the fruit was...

This is a WESTIN in Palo Alto, literally across the street from Stanford University, so it has to be nice enough for parents, campus visitors, important guest lecturers, and conference attendees. Beautiful entrance area, lovely pool and hot tub, and a fitness area with multiple treadmills, stationary bikes, and ergonomic steppers make up the first floor. No weights in the...

I stayed at the Westin in Palo Alto last night and overall it is a very average Westin. I was upgraded to a "corner suite" given my Platinum status and to me a "suite" isn't just one big room as their corner suits are... they are just a room without a separate bedroom. The bed was typical Heavenly Bed and...

Dear Kyle D, Thank you for being our guest and for sharing your feedback. I am pleased that you appreciated our staff, our Heavenly Beds, our bathrooms, SPG mobile check in, and the complimentary upgrade awarded based on your Platinum SPG status. I apologize that the majority of our suites do not have the separate bedroom that you are accustomed...

Very friendly staff who aim to make your experience even much more pleasant. Very clean and beautiful. Your requests are answered right away. Spent Christmas week here and enjoyed every minute! So glad I found the perfect hotel-will only stay here when I go back to Palo Alto. Wish more hotels could be more like this.

This hotel and the rooms are laid out well. The service was good. I had a small issue with the room but it was fixed and the management took care of my parking for the trouble, which I appreciated. The food is good quality but I found the menu quite small in terms of selections. Although there are a lot...

My son used the treadmill and was happy. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. Stanford university is across the street . Our daughter went running there...

Parking, front desk and room service staff generally OK, but certainly not at the highest levels. Food (including room service) generally of good but not excellent quality. Building construction pretty good, but again cannot match that of big city hotels such as San Francisco's Palace, W or St. Regis hotels. Beware of Caltrains trains passing nearby frequently. All this makes...

Westin, Palo Alto Very nicely located across the street from Stanford University, and walking distance to University Av in Palo Alto where restaurants and movie theatre and cafes and shopping abound, as well as walking distance to Stanford Shopping Center. The Palo Alto train station is also a short walk away at University station. The hotel is upscale decor, new,...

We booked through the SPG site - same, if not better rates than the 3rd party sites but with the benefit of streamlined communications directly with the hotel. The hotel is really convenient to the Stanford campus and the Stanford Shopping Center, both within easy walking distance. (Runners Bonus: roll out of bed and in 5 minutes you're jogging through...
