I visit PS often but always the big chain hotels. This time it was a getaway where I planned to work (needed a change of scenery during Covid). This place was perfect! So quaint and peaceful in a residential neighborhood. When I laid out by the pool, all I could hear were birds chirping and some nice soothing music playing in the background thanks to the owner. The room was fully equipped and spacious with a full kitchen. There is a patio in the back and in the front of the room. Really enjoyed it.
On my last trip to Palm Springs I stayed across the street at a decent but nothing spectacular hotel. This time I found the Little Paradise hotel and I am SO glad I did. The communication prior to arrival about covid rules and restrictions and changes to normal protocol helped understand what to expect. The property is in a lovely neighborhood that you wouldn't know was there if you didn't know! The property was lovely, well maintained, beautiful landscaping, lighting and ambiance in evenings. The room (King Deluxe) was wonderful! The bed was very comfortable, the room was perfectly decorated and very clean. Judy and Victor were wonderful hosts. So kind and willing to do anything you need, although I needed nothing but quiet and relaxation and that is exactly what I got. Much less guests during the week than on weekends so I had the pool to myself daily! Victor also came out to check temperature of pool and if we wanted it raised which is unheard of and really impressed me! The neighborhood is wonderful for morning walks and there are plenty of little eating gems in the area for when you don't feel like going downtown. Their hospitality and their kindness and relaxed location made me a fan. I cannot wait to return.…
My wife booked this wonderful little hotel for us for this past October 30 & 31. It was the perfect location into the town. We had our individual entrance door into our room. This is more of a safe feeling in this COVID 19 environment. Our place was very clean and spacious. The kitchen area and shower were outstanding. When we walked out side of our room we had the immediate view of the nice swimming pool and mountains. During the evening we could sit outside and enjoy our tanqueray martinis and the beautiful lights in the pool. During the day we utilized their bicycles to ride into town and go to our favorite deli, Sherman's What could be better than eating a pastrami sandwich and a bowl of matzo ball soup at 10:30AM in the morning? Judy at the front desk was ever so helpful. Victor, the owner is ever so proud of his hotel and wants to make sure the guests enjoy their visit. We had an opportunity to talk with him one evening as we were sitting by the pool. Our stay reminded me of the visits we enjoyed in the 1960's during spring break from school. This place is a little paradise.…
The room is very nice and modern with a spacious bathroom and kitchenette. The shower feels like a spa with multiple water jets. It would be nice to have some hooks in the room or another small table for clothes, bags or other items. Each room has a small outdoor area with patio furniture which we enjoyed. You can login to your various apps to watch on the TV. The pool area is quiet and relaxing with a great mountain view. Music is played during the day at a reasonable volume (Sade playlist was nice but could do without the country music). If you're looking to party or get drunk by the pool then this is not the place for you. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the shared fire pit as the propane tank was empty and the office had already closed. Staff is masked and lounge chairs by the pool are socially distanced. Breakfast and housekeeping are not currently offered due to covid. It would be nice to at least have breakfast bars, bananas, yogurt or other individually wrapped breakfast items offered. Looking forward to staying here again.…
I loved this place and will definitely be returning as often as I am able. Totally safe place to visit during Covid; the rooms are amazing, so cutely decorated! Fireplace in each room, lighting was lovely, bed comfortable, bathroom really luxurious and the shower head to die for, cute kitchenette, cute patios, nice to sit around the pool, very private, only 9 rooms. I cannot say enough - did I say how I love this place? It was very quiet when we visited, only one other room was occupied and love that too; it was also very centrally located, Victor the owner was very friendly and helpful, as was Judy. Can't wait to return!
