Thanks to Hilton PS staff for treating us so well, and recognizing our Hilton Membership perks. Clean and safe hotel, comfortable room, prompt attention to our requests. Great location near shops and restaurants. Loved the remodeled pool area. We will be back again next year!

Hotel's Favorite
This is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities and services in the desert. The room was very large and nicely decorated, but didn't have a microwave and you had to go to the restaurant to eat. The pool was large with a nice garden around it and many people were always gathered there. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the shower! It was surprisingly quiet with all the parties going on there. We faced the pool and yet heard very little of the noise that was obvious as we walked across the pool area. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was extra, but very good. I had their Belgian waffle with bananas and strawberries and my husband had the granola, yogurt and fruit breakfast. Covid restrictions were in place so you were required to wear masks anywhere in the buildings. (Rules of Palm Springs, not just the hotel...) Most people were complying. The restrictions were the most strict at the bar and at the dining room where you had to show proof of either a vaccination or of a clear test with within the last 3 days. As a result, some people were denied access to either. Due to the number of people wanting to travel and all of the hotels being full, it was relatively expensive. As lovely as the hotel was, since I prefer to have a microwave and table in the room, I will probably continue to stay primarily at Hampton Inns.

Room Tip: Since the rooms are quiet, I prefer the rooms facing the pool. They each have a balcony.

This is my first visit to this hotel. I chose this location due to its close proximity to downtown Palm Springs and to the Aerial Tramway. The location is very convenient and the facilities are well maintained for an older property. Check in was quick and simple. Our room was a spacious junior suite and the front desk gave us two bottles of water and some granola bars for being a Diamond member. After checkin, the experience declined due to service and cleaning issues. Due to the surge in the pandemic, I was planning to order room service and have dinner with my family in the room but when I called to order, I was told that room service ends at 2pm. The restaurant was also closed. The bar was open so we went to get takeout there. It was odd that the menu there was the same as the room service menu but the food could not be delivered to the guest rooms. We also tried to order room service breakfast for the next morning but was told that we could not pre-order breakfast for the next morning but had to order in the morning. This was the first hotel I’ve been to where one could not pre-order room service breakfast for the next morning. While I was showering, I was also dismayed to find a used bandaid stuck to the floor of the shower. It made me wonder if the bathroom had been cleaned at all. To the hotel’s credit, I believe that the service issues are likely due to COVID related staffing issues and that if they had more people, they could provide room service for dinner and for preordered breakfast. They managed with the people they had. The issue with the bathroom cleanliness however, needs to be addressed. Debris, especially that containing blood should not be overlooked during cleaning as it could be a health hazard. This is a well located hotel with nice features. I hope that the service and cleanliness issues will be addressed the next time I visit.

My wife and I only stayed here one night to get us close to the airport. So, expectations were low since we’d be in and out in under 24 hours. Didn’t seem to matter to the hotel staff. Front desk was accommodating and upgraded us to a lovely suite. The room was great, the facility very nice, and the pool was delightful. Had a quick wine at the bar, Harvey’s , and the wine was excellent as was the service and the price. The other advantage is it’s location. Not only close to the airport, but also the shopping district and especially Sherman’s Deli, just across the street.

I love that the Hilton continues to evolve with the times. The free for guests electric car hook ups will keep me coming back. The customer service was amazing from the representatives at the front desk to the cleaning ladies
