Large units (two bedrooms; two baths), friendly staff, quiet, great location. Parking is easy. Very chilled place. Plus, you can pick the grapefruits and orange on the trees. Highly recommend this resort!

Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and very clean. The beds were v. comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with pots and pan and utensils. Only salt and pepper available and a day's worth of coffee.
Bathroom had good water pressure and the internet was adequate. The location was about a 1 mile walk from downtown Palm Springs and there is a Ralph's (groceries) and CVS 1/4 mile away.
Air conditioning blew right onto you making it a bit uncomfortable when on. Ceiling fan only in living room. Would be nice in bedrooms, but they did have sliding doors with screens. The small porch wasn't very nice because you were walled in. The pool area was v. nice and not too many people making it easy to stay socially distanced.
The folks in the office were v accommodating. There are 2 washer/dryers, so a reservation is necessary to use them. They are coin operated.
Furnishing 3 star, but perfectly adequate.

Vista Mirage Resort was a delightful surprise. The location was within reasonable driving distance to the things we wanted to visit, the spacious room sizes in the 2 bedroom suite was wonderful, the cleanliness in the suite as well as the entire grounds of the resort was remarkable. Very welcoming staff, and the Kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in-everything needed to create gourmet meals was there. Considering the stay was during the shut-down of restaurants due to Covid, this was an absolute bonus to our vacation.

Excellent location in Palm Springs, near downtown to the west and major shopping center three miles to the east. The 2 BR (king + queen) & 2BA villa was spacious albeit it was a bit dated but the unit is well-equipped with some upgrades, including the kitchen which had granite counters. We were on the second floor and the villa had a very small enclosed front entrance and balcony (each fitting ~3 chairs) without a view which was fine for us. There's no washer/dryer in the unit but the laundry facility was quite nearby next to the office and the first load in the washer was free ($2). Towel exchange is there too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There's a large long swimming pool, a tennis court, and a putting green. We had a quiet and peaceful week there and would stay there again.

We had 2 nights in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo and what a lovely stay! Rooms were big and bright, with lovely HEATED pools and hot tubs and a small gym. We were there on a whistle stop mini winter vacation so didn't make use of the two porches or outdoor grills but they were there to add even more to the experience. Extremely responsive front desk just a text away. Fully stocked with kitchen wares and a mini kitchen dish soap, dishwasher tabs, towels and sponge, so just take a trip down the block to Ralphs and you can cook your whole vacay if that's your bag. Comfy living room pull-out couch so each of our teens had their own bed. Enormous dining room table easily fit 6 for board games, cards and puzzling and super easy location to get to hiking, the tramway and museums. Fantastic property, a great value.

Came here via a timeshare exchange, only to be told that we had to pay an extra $20 per day for Internet access and “other amenities”. I pay high fees every year for the maintenance and amenities at my “home” resort (as I am sure the owners at this resort do); yet, when I travel I have to pay extra to use the amenities at other resorts. The timeshare companies continually seek to add (and raise) the fees they charge for almost everything. Now, when timeshare owners exchange to other resorts we typically have to pay an additional $20 to $50+ per day. The timeshares you buy have no resale value; generally they cannot even be given away. Do not buy timeshares!!!
All of this being said, this place is nice, clean and has large suites. The location is good. The amenities are average/satisfactory, not spectacular: two standard pool and hot tubs, a singe tennis court and a putting green. Unlike most places I have visited, the laundry facilities here are coin operated, not free ( not an amenity).
Covered parking is nice, although there is not enough for all guests.

This is an older, but updated facility with an extremely pleasant staff. Our two bedroom unit was the perfect size and we liked the location to downtown Palm Springs. Also the location was very quiet on a dead-end street and we could use the garages for our vehicle (if not too big). Ralph's Grocery within walking distance was also a bonus!

Reservations here are unreliable.
I booked a two-bedroom suite at Vista Mirage three months in advance of BNP Paribas tennis tournament, to make sure I had accommodations reserved at a good price. Two weeks prior to my stay, Vista Mirage messaged me through booking.com saying, 'Unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate your reservation. We are terribly sorry about this but have had some unforeseen maintenance happen at the resort. At this time, we will need to cancel your reservation."
When I called for more information, the receptionist informed me that they had no upcoming maintenance, but they had received other calls of similar complaint. She suspected that it had something to do with a recent change in management. She took my name and number and said the manager would call me back.
Days later, no one had yet called me back, so I sent a message requesting further explanation. Management did respond but declined to offer an explanation, only that they were sorry, but they cannot accommodate my reservation.
Now I'm stuck without a hotel room two, with very expensive lodging options two weeks prior to the event. This is quite frustrating to say the least! This property either (a) has a very poor system for managing reservations or (b) has made a calculated decision take new reservations at a higher price at the expense of cancelling on people who already had already booked before they took over management.
Either way--beware, you may find yourself without lodging!

My family stayed here during our stay in Palm Springs. We booked one of the upper level rooms that was close to the main road but it was still very quiet. It turns out this suite was newly renovated.
The kitchen was nice and had the necessary utensils and pops and pans to cook at home. That is a plus for those who need to prepare their own food based on their diet; or if they just don't want to eat out all the time.
The rooms were comfortable; my brother and I had the smaller bedroom with twin beds while my parents stayed in the master. We went in December 2019 so not much chance to use the balcony or the enclosed lawn.

Stayed there for 2 nights and everything was going well. The accommodations were good and felt comfortable. We went to use the pool and spa the second night which was nice. Pool was heated so kept my son entertained while he still had fun playing in the water even at 8pm. Everything went south when we returned back to our room to find out there was no hot water at all. Front desk suggested we run the water for 30 minutes and see. We did that and still nothing plus we just wasted 30 minutes of running water. This was happening throughout the complex so I imagine their water boiler was busted. Their maintenance guy already left and would not be back till the next morning. I took a cold freezing shower while my family boiled water on the stove to add to the tub so we can bath my 6 year old. Hot water was fixed the next morning. Not really what I was expecting on a vacation. Location was central to downtown.

Yes there is.
Hi Kate! The condo have full kitchens, so you'll have a full frig & freezer. The Resort doesn't provide any transportation but there was often a taxi parked on the street, others call Uber for a ride. You'll spend a lot less than the Palm Springs Rental Car rates. No wristbands required, you may have guests but cannot exceed the sleeping for the condo. A 1 Bedroom sleeps 4 & 2 Bedroom sleeps 6. The grocery store, Ralph's is within a block. Then there are lots of small restaurants nearby, an easy walk for most people.
Yes, you can request a lower level. I also have difficulty walking distances & doing a lot of stairs. When I made the reservation, I let the staff know of my needs. We were close to the walkway to the pool & parking.
