I emailed to book for 3 nights. I received an email back saying that there was one room available. The place sounded perfect. There was only one room left so I wanted to book immediately. I called & spoke to the reservation desk. I explained that I now only required 2 nights and I was told that he could not... More

We have recently returned from a 3 week holiday touring the west coast of America, our last 4 days we had the pleasure of staying at the Old Ranch Inn in Palm Springs, a delightful accommodation with perfect hosts Ed and Larry, who made our stay so special, nothing was too much trouble, our room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable... My partner and I spent a wonderful weekend at The Old Ranch Inn. When we booked we got the last available room. While it was small and right across from the office, it was nevertheless, comfortable, nicely appointed and quiet. The guests we met were an interesting mix of Californians and Europeans. The atmosphere was friendly, yet private. The pool... More

Stayed in Room #1 and #5. Room number 1 is far roomier and a a king bed. More of a suite with larger sitting area and kitchen area. Decorated very warm, charming and inviting. Had a lovely fireplace too. Everything is very clean and neat. Larry and Ed are always wonderful to chat with and have good information regarding the... More

The Old Ranch Inn is one of many options in an area of Palm Springs which has the great advantage of being within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops of the town centre. The inn is small and cosy with really friendly and helpful staff and a lovely pool and terrace/garden area with wonderful views of the surrounding... More

First of all...Always listen to Trip Advisor! Almost a year ago, I read on the site that this was "America's hidden gem". The devotion of the owners was evident from my first call, to the day before we left, (against our better judgement...we'd have stayed forever!) when Larry printed our boarding passes. We flew in after fourteen hours of travel... More

The Old Ranch Inn is an example of why I use Tripadvisor. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful, well appointed and spotless room located in a charming inn with terrific hosts. The room was easily the best value that we've ever had for the money. It was bright, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was large and clean.... More

I don't know what to say that hasn't been mentioned before. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights in September while looking to purchase a home in the area. Ed and Larry are wonderful, great guys. We had a very helpful conversation about real estate in the area with Ed, and like one other reviewer said, they are... More

My Wife and I have recently returned from 15 days in California 8 of which we spent at The Old Ranch Inn. This was by far the most relaxing and welcoming hotel we stayed at and also the cheapest by a long long way. We have travelled all over the world (well almost) and this is without doubt the best... We just got back from a week at the Old Ranch Inn in Palm Springs. Larry and Ed (the proprietors) were great, the Inn was great, the location was great! We would definitely stay here again! Larry and Ed were very helpful in recommending restaurants, activities, etc., all the good "info" you don't get with the "chain" hotels. All the... More
