I absolutely adore this place. The attention to detail, the care, the amazing facility. Kent and the entire staff are second to none.it seems like they are always one step ahead of what you need/want. The pool and hot tub are always pristine and kept at the perfect temperatures. The fire pit area was a morning joy with coffee. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast… not to mention the unbelievable daily lunch order… what a spectacular amenity. Location is great…book this place! We already rebooked for next year. Can’t come soon enough.

Spectacular location, accommodations, amenities, and services. I understand this ownership group has other locations in Palm Springs, which are likely equally lovely, but guests we interacted with all said: Santiago is their favorite. The intimacy and cleanliness surpassed expectations. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve been on in a while. Temp control was excellent with individual PTAC units. The breakfast service was beyond expectations, and the lunch option service: amazing. The support crew were excellent on every level: friendly, helpful, genuinely present for the guests.
Shout-outs:
Meal service crews! Awesome job. Breakfast was a treat, and lunch was easy.
Concierge was enthusiastic and welcoming. We loved it.
Pool and spa were immaculate and staff kept the common areas constantly resort ready,
Are there some nits? Of course.
The hot water took a long time to get to the shower, which meant a waste of water. And, when a toilet flushed: good idea to step back a few seconds.
The “barn door” closure for the bathroom left no sounds etc to the imagination.
I’ve never written this in a review before, but: servicing the room was very early! It was GREAT service, but early. I get it: small hotel needs to turn the rooms. But still: early.
Suggestions.
I visited on an arguably cold weekend. I wish there had been some patio heaters available on the pool deck.
I loved the “all inclusive” meal service, like to get out now and then, but having a dinner option, for additional cost could be a good addition for guests.
All the guests were lovely. There were, however, a couple of locals who landed on property after staff left for the day. Not ideal.

My husband and I just enjoyed a fabulous ten day vacation at Santiago. It was our fourth stay there and we have already booked again for next year. We love absolutely everything about the place.....the entire property is beautifully maintained and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The enormous pool is sparkling clean and kept at a comfy temperature so even late night swimming in the cool desert air is a delight. There is also a big 10-12 man hot tub near the pool where guys gather to relax and chat. We've met many interesting men from around the world there and have made some good friends. Breakfast and lunch are included which we especially appreciate. There are lots of tasty options on the breakfast menu and it is lovely to begin the day with breakfast outside overlooking the pool and beautifully landscaped patio area. There are also a wide variety of salad and sandwich options on the lunch menu and all are delicious. Another plus is Santiago's location. It is situated in a very convenient spot close to a myriad dining and night life options as well as many beautiful hiking trails. Perhaps the most enjoyable part of a stay at Santiago is getting to know your fellow guests. They come from all over the world and range in age from 20s to seniors. The mix of nationalities, ethnicities and ages makes for a fascinating and interesting group of men. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful sunny desert locale you cannot go wrong with Santiago Resort. It truly is perfection!

This year was a quick 6 days in the comfort behind the screening at Santiago, secure in the knowledge that I would leave relaxed and having had the best possible time there.
There is so much to be said about this resort, but in the end it boils down to 2 main areas; the staff and the hard product.
The resort is still in the very capable and experienced hands of Charles. He is a Master of his craft and effortlessly (although I doubt it really is effortless) brings together discreet yet professional service with a clean, safe and convivial setting.
He is ably assisted by Boomer who continues Charles’ vision. And with a myriad of guys working back of house, the scene is set for a most relaxing stay. Nothing is too much trouble. An example of this is when I mentioned I liked low fat milk during the day for my tea, an individual carafe was placed in my room with a personalised label as the extra touch. I loved it.
The resort is much the same with a high standard throughout. New mattresses make for a great nights sleep and modern bathrooms and bedrooms bring the feel of luxury to the front. Always piping hot water on tap and clean towels a plenty. The usual tv (although I didn’t use it), safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, fridge and welcome snacks are all present.
The main attention is outside though. I huge heated pool (I believe a cooling system is coming for the high temperatures of Summer) and plenty of beds around it. A large hot tub, giant hammocks, fire pit and outside showers complete the outside.
Bikes are available to use too.
And then the Cantina. A light, but plentiful, breakfast is served from there and then for the rest of the day and night you can help yourself to hot and cold drinks and light snacks. It’s a great service.
Lunch is also included and comes daily from a local bakery. Salads and sandwiches to pre order from a varied menu.
I’m a huge Santiago fan. And now with 2 other properties in their portfolio to choose from, you won’t be disappointed if you can’t get into Santiago. The wonderful Kent at Descanso and the adorable Adam at Twin Palms share the same passion as Charles. But as Santiago is where my heart is, that’s the one I will always book first.
This year the other guests were so much fun that this was another amazing stay and was yet again very hard to leave.
Book early to avoid disappointment. I know you will thank me for it.

From the moment we entered the resort, we knew we were at a special destination. Beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained, the resort was so welcoming by staff and other residents alike. The pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit were natural gathering spots and we were almost always outside our room interacting with other guests. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was ample and the complimentary lunch (salads, wraps and sandwiches) were of high quality and artfully prepared. Snack baskets were provided in the rooms and soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7 on a help yourself basis. It was our first visit to Palm Springs but definitely won’t be our last and neither of us can imagine staying anywhere else in the future.

I absolutely loved my experience at the Santiago! The room decor and design was stylish and fun but the pool area was the highlight - surprisingly green and lush for a desert environment, comfortable lounge chairs and even some shade. The staff is friendly and available and the resort is impeccably maintained - rooms and grounds look spotless and new. I also enjoyed socializing with other guests. I had ambitions of exploring Palm Springs and its offerings but couldn't resist the allue of the resort and spent most of my time floating around the pool. I will be back!

Excellent facilities and always improving. Exceptionally well managed by Kent. The pool is one of the best in Palm Springs, and it's surrounded by lush green space. Complimentary continental breakfasts and box lunches mean you can stay on the property most of the day. Most (all?) rooms have been updated, and the bedding is first-rate. Daily housekeeping service, without asking (a service many major hotel chains have discontinued). In short, there's nothing here not to like.

First and foremost I absolutely adore the Santiago. it is a beautiful property and the staff are amazing. This is my go-to Palm Springs getaway. If i had any complaints it would be the lack on maintenance. The room keys don't work well and jam not letting you into your room. The handle to the shower would completely fall off when turning on the water. When you are paying such a premium those little details are more noticeable. Other than that highly recommend the Santiago!

Thank you for your review and your feedback! I'm sorry we missed the mark on room quality and that you had those issues! I hope that they were addressed while you were here. We have replaced all of the door locks because of similar issues. And the last 3 bathrooms will be renovated this winter, so hopefully the remaining bathroom issues will be fully resolved as well. We look forward to seeing you again and hitting the mark fully next time!!

When I arrived in Palm Springs to meet up with friends visiting from Sydney, AUS, I was very disappointed to discover the hotel they had booked which used to be quite nice, had truly fallen from grace in every way. I insisted that they trust me and switch to Santiago before any more if their visit could be impacted.
The difference really is night and day comparing Santiago to the other clothing optional men’s resorts in Palm Springs. Honorable mention to their affiliated properties Twin Palms and Descanso, and you can see they’ve perfected the formula for service, comfort, amenities, and as a result attract incredible clientele as well.
The complimentary breakfast and lunch are efficient and well executed to provide a feeling of much higher end experience than you’d expect from a resort that doesn’t try to gouge people with the resort fee. At a modest $16/night when taking into consideration the lush grounds, best in class pool and spa, outdoor fire pit and shower, it is easily the best bang for your buck anywhere in town!
As soon as you enter the front door it’s a whole new world compared to the desert beyond the walls. The lush well maintained and beautiful vegetation belies a tropical paradise. There The pool and spa are always pristine and set to the perfect temperature. The staff have mastered the art of being exceedingly helpful with any need or request, while still succeeding in letting you enjoy a total sense of privacy and are expertly able to not be a bother while constantly being ready to assist in any way.
I can’t speak highly enough about this place! I’ve been here several times and it is easily my favorite getaway in the desert.
Thank you for saving the trip got my out of town friends who could not get over hire much nicer it was than the previous place and they are back home in Melbourne still talking about what a great time they had.

Santiago Resort is exceptional in every way - condition of the rooms and property, location, and most of all the attentiveness of staff (especially Robert). I actually preferred to spend as more time lounging by the pool than exploring Palm Springs itself. I will definitely return to this resort and highly recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Palm Springs.

No, we do not have a pool bar or even serve alcohol. We are not permitted for it, but don't worry we have a liquor store a very short walk away from the hotel, limited mixers and poolside approved cups! Even a blender, if you feel margarita's are the right choice poolside!
