I've stayed in many hotels over the year, most quite good, but this is the first time I've taken the trouble to write a review. Our experience echoes that of other visitors: we simply had a very good stay at a comfortable and very inexpensive place. Could anything have been better. Oh probably. A kitchenette would have been nice (we...

For starters, my husband booked the trip online. He accidentally booked it post-Thanksgiving, instead of post-Christmas--which was when we were in Palm Springs! Luckily, after a 10 hour roadtrip, Terry, the front desk person was able to accomodate us AND our little Yorkie. We really enjoyed our stay here and would've enjoyed the swimming pool had the weather been a...

We've stayed at Caliente Tropics at least twice a year for the last 6 years and have always been pleased with our time there. The rooms and grounds are well kept, and the staff, most notably Tom Law and Mike, have been consistently friendly and accomodating,, they make us feel so welcome! The pool is large with plenty of lounge...

I planned a last minute trip and stayed here on a whim. The property and room was just fine. There were however people opening and slamming car doors all night waking me up three plus times. Obviously not the fault of the hotel, but i wouldn't call this a quiet place to stay. I would however stay again for the...

My friends and I stayed at this terrific, TIki-themed hotel last December and loved it! We were in town for the David Arkenstone concert, and discovered that David and the band were staying here too! The rooms are elegant, clean and comfy, pool & jacuzzi terrific, the management is wonderfully accommodating, location is central, prices fair and affordable. Look forward...

Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, and a great layout. Walls were plenty thick, even with the neighbors slamming the door. The pool was SO MUCH FUN, and the hot tub wasn't too hot. The rooms are larger than I figured they'd be, and very comfortable. The wifi worked without a hitch, and the staff was very cordial and helpful. Found...

The staff at the Caliente Tropics Tom W. Tom L. Tom P. Mike F. Illiana Gareth and Aaron could not have treated us better than our own family!! I am a local who was having home rennovations completed and needed a place to stay for one night. I searched the web and could not believe the inexpensive price for a night stay. I thought for one night if the price refelcted the hotel i would survive. Was I wrong!!! This hotel is a great motorlodge in the desert....

This was a fun little place on E Palm Canyon, just a short jaunt from downtown. The rooms were clean and well appointed, the staff was friendly and helpful and the pool was great. The only drawback was that the restaurant/lounge is closed, but I understand that lots of hotel restaurants are struggling.
